Greetings, fellow disciples of Darkness! I'm Scott ( Count Baldur von Carstein) from New York state. I'm new to the site but I'm a 10-year WHFB vet, and I've recently reawakened a VC army I started about 5 years ago and retired for awhile in lieu of a Khornate Chaos army. I suppose I have a morbid fascination with bloodthirsty minions!! Anyway, I'm getting a 2,250 pt VC army ready for a tourney in September, and needless to say I'm an assembling, converting, painting fanatic right now!! I plan on posting pics and army lists, along with some battle reports, for your perusals, opinions, and critiques as soon as I get a moment!! It's so difficult to keep the ghouls and zombies fed...Where's that rat-dung smelling necromancer of mine? Thanks for having me....Until next time the darkness falls.....

Hello fellow denizens of the dark! Count Otto Bludrot greets you from Lincolnshire, England! My army sleeps but will soon begin to awaken, then let all mortals beware. Initially, 2000 points will be spent to build a host to terrorise all lovers of the light. Further units will be recruited in due course, so no one will know exactly what units they will face in any encounter. BEWARE! We are hungry for your blood!

Welcome all of you to CN! The home of the Free and the land of the Smelly :P

Seems the people want blood, but where are the brain loving fiends? Like me? Awwww

See you all the the forums

hello.
I am new here...umm, it kinda smells like death here.
anyway, i am gamer and have been for many years. i have collected and painted a variety of warhammer models and have always wanted to make a vc army. I never really got into the older line overall, but with the new release i am currently constructing my very first army and i could not be more enthusiastic. i am ready to bring out my dead from my pillaging of Mordheim and look forward to sharing with those of like mind and passion for this little hobby we all share.

Thats not the smell of death, thats the smell of success. And of the many people who died eating chilli...

Welcome to CN! I'm sure you'll find people happy to eat you. I mean great you... yes, I covered that one up well...

See you in the forums

Hello, I don't know if I'll be accepted by this community. You see I am a 10 yr Bretonnian Baron from Couronne. I've been disillusioned by the direction my local gaming community has gone. I havn't gamed in months as I watched this disintergration happened. It went from fun, introducing new players to any race they chose, to play by fluff and theme, and with pride and honor for young and old, having a family atmosphere. It has gone to Power and Cheese, and winning at all costs. So Be It !! I see the VC as a way to rise and create an army that will sweep all those forces that have gone over to the side of the Chaos gods... I would like to learn from this community on this task and my vow!!! I have the making to start a VC rising from my son's army. It was gotten with the last codex.

Hello, I'm cold
I just signed up here and Im about to start a vampire counts army, bought the army book, 10 grave guard and 10 dire wolves last week. Im planning to buy the spearhead next.
I don't think I'll be an active poster on the forums but I'll read the project logs, tactics and armylist critics with joy
and to dark lord Mr. Fluffy, I dont think my bones taste that well, please spare me? ;)

Well your bones mightn't taste that nice, but I'm not too picky with what I eat ;)
Let me be the first to say: Welcome to CN! The tale of 4 gamers sure is a very nice user project to look at (not just because I'm one of the gamers :P)

The spear head is quite a good box, but.. where are the zombies???

See you in the Forum (well, maybe)

A cold, chilly and damp (just like I like it!!) welcome to all that I have not greeted personally of late.

Black Soul, we love having Bretonian Barons for dinner - no sorry, to dinner - maybe I had it right first time around. In any case, come in and bring in your delicious retinue so that we may inspect them as well.

And Cold, Fluffy is not necessarily the most dangerous creature that you will meet in our realm, but keep your eye on him (if only so that you don't see me coming ;)).

Welcome Cold; have fun building your army.

Black Sould; all vampires are by nature schemers and plot to dominate the others around them so you're more than welcome. May you kick those cheesy lists to kingdom come!

Hello Everyone,
I've been collecting Warhammer for about Five years, and I am beginning to collect Vampires Counts, and will probably go for magic heavy list. I hope to collect a large force as they have always been my most coveted Army to collect. I also have a small heavily converted Migration Period Themed Hordes of Chaos Mortal Army, when I have a reasonable size force, aiming for 2250 before I start to play my first games. I also have been a long time player of Mordheim, and Warhammer 40k. I hope to enjoy my time here, and share what advice I can with all of you,

-N

Welcome to CN! There's only one thing that we don't allow here: a Pulse. That and outside food :P
Large force you say? Does that mean with or without zombies? Some crazy players seem not to use any!

Hope to see yer chaos and VCs in a painting log soon
See you in the forums.

Hello Brethren,
I have been interested in the Warhammer hobby for Five or so years, generally collecting, painting, and creating my own fluff. But now I want to see my forces own the table top playing against others : ). So, after lurking here for quiet some time I have decided to register, as you can tell...hopefully in the coming weeks I will begin an Army Progress Blog, along with posting some of the fluff I create to go along with it. I am looking forward to sharing my experiences with all of you and learning more about the hobby,
Good Night.
