I saw the banner posted on Lustria Online. I immediately recognized the style, truly good ;)
Lolz, I'm not on Lustria Online. Though I did just find the post you were talking about.

EDIT;
Ah, I see. So it's one large post they dump everything in. It's a shame they don't credit the work, loads of different artists in there.

yep, it's just "let's post this awesome thing". Sometime you have no clue about who the author is (as it happens if you search for images), but when you find authored models, it could be nice to credit the work.

Oh, that banner is just incredible. Can you maybe elaborate a bit on your technique, please? Especially how you painted the slabs of green stone?

Thank you kindly 😊
I'm not the greatest of teachers to be honest, but essentially the Jade is done with around four paints;
-Jade by Jo Sonja
-Titanium White by Jo Sonja
-Biel Tan Green shade by GW
- a deep blue green like Nocturne Green by GW. I use an old paint by Vallejo from one of their Nocturna sets called Deep Forest Green.

Start from a black basecoat, and sketch on you midtone with thinned Jade. It will look rough at this stage, keep going.
With the thinned mix, add more layers by brushing towards your highlight. Once you've got an established base, now we head the other direction with the deep green colour you've chosen.

This time, just glaze back toward the shadow.
If you want some more variation, redo some thin scratch marks with the base Jade colour, before glazing from around 80% of the Jade back towards the shadow with a Biel Tan glaze.
With that done, add an edge highlight of Jade, adding white for the sharpest points. Finally, a dot or two of pure white on the brightest highlights, and your done.

Glazing always sounds easy, especially as you usually just use few colors. However, transitions can be hard. Achieving a smooth appearance depends on color and object but with a bit of practice it's manageable. However, applying it correctly in order to produce a realistic effect is a bit like painting NMM which is difficult IMO. In addition, when it comes to glass/ice/stone/etc. the degree of realism also depends on adding scratches and other imperfections which is even harder to get them right. So, overall, great work.
