Let's get moving then... Oh wait :lightbulb:

Update:

MOVE TO DA STARPORT(and get to da choppa *cough* starship)

XD

Btw, do any of you want a personal plot in this RP, like Luther/Tarkus being turned to chaos, if so PM me and I can incorporate it into the main plot.

Apart from the whole infiltrate a starport that will probably go wrong, and get Andrew blown up by a leman russ battlecanon shell, ment for our grey knight.

You guys actually know how many thousand people/creatures we will need to subdue to pilot even a small escort class frigate in this universe. Not to mention the fact that it will probably not even be able to land on a planet. So we will have to take some transport/shuttle crafts up to the ship without being shot down in space.

Or am I missing something, because since Andrew have been a rogue trader crew member, he kinda knows about this, and would probably start walking towards the hive rather than follow the group on a fools errand.

Ill try again. Luther have allready asked that question in the game thread. Post 139 to be exact
"So, SLyvax. That device you removed from me. What exactly was it? And more importantly, what do you plan on doing once we're off this rock?

But if you need someone else to ask, then I guess someone have to come forward.

Woops, forgot to answer

Just say "you never told me what that device was" suspiciously, Or summat

Sorry :clown:

We're gonna hitchhike da über ship, then sit with cloaky awesomeness on the side of another ship, 'nids do it for sneaky warp travel. Remember this ship is prototype class.

*Slyvax turns his exterminatus-edition laser pointer off*

*Smiles*

C'mon lads, please post gettithere th base now!!

Er.. Archi could you delete your post, and darvy edit in about the Flak cannons, if you don't mind, it jus seems a bit silly having a little one sentence post in between two essays  Ima postin' now so I'll say "do continue my good sir" to blacke

It would be a nice touch for Pow to point out the Flak cannons, I felt, so unless Blacke must say it I don't mind leaving Pow to say it instead.

However, I will point out that Pow seems to have simultaneously developed mind-reading powers, and also omniscience. xD The first is not such a problem, as I didn't write "Blacke thought" or anything similar. I'd hoped my system of bold for speech and italics for thoughts would be obvious, but as I said, an easy misunderstanding to make.

My real issue is the omniscience. It might not be omniscience, though, so do correct me if I'm wrong here; but how on earth could Pow have known Blacke was abducted from the planet? Since Blacke was abudcted, he was tortured briefly by Slyax, then taken on his mission into the warehouse, then into the Eldar shadow-realm (very briefly) then out onto the planet; at no point whatsoever has there been outside contact. True, you might have been on the planet at the time and seen the Dark Eldar abductions. But then how could you notice the absence of one commissar out of an entire world? And how could you recognise the same commissar, especially after he's undergone surgery which frankly makes him completely unrecognisable from his previous state?

But even if Pow knew all that, he still got his facts wrong! xD Blacke was abducted, taken to Slyvax, and very shortly after the RP started; so unless there was some very convenient warp-time-disruption, Blacke has not been away for three years; a maximum of a month.

Which all leaves us in a rather befuddling predicament. We have Flak cannons that Blacke should have known about when he was there before abduction, unless they've all be constructed at very high speeds... in a world falling to pieces under the influence of Chaos, which also seems to be a very recent development... :rofl2:

How do you want to deal with this, Mannfred? :clown:

Umm... I swear Blacke said earlier, on the planet when Pow was watching/listening (q1 answered), that he had been trained on this planet three years ago before moving. Forgive me if I am wrong...
Also, Pow arrived on the planet for the purpose of keeping track of the Dauntless. It is no surprise he knows all about the flak cannons.

It actually makes sense. He tells Blacke to go on, before filling him in on any info he might not know.

Ah, I see the confusion. I admit it is rather unnecessarily complex on my part; Blacke was stationed on the planet 3-ish years ago, then became a Commissar, then returned and was finishing off a local Ork insurrection when he was abducted much more recently.

So the situation is certainly salvageable. Blacke wouldn't know about the Chaos corruption or the new flak cannons because he wasn't working on the starbase, but on the Orks, and was too focussed to notice much else. Pow knew Blacke from when he was monitoring the Dauntless, as that was when Blacke was more active in the defence of the starbase and therefore Pow would make it a priority to know who was commanding the operation, and so made a lucky guess that the crazy cyborg-Blacke was the same Blacke who was in charge of the starbase 3-ish years ago, as he seems to have knowledge about the base and even if he looks completely different it would be an extreme coincidence if he WASN'T the same.

Huzzah!

F*cking hell, I think we've just managed to make a murder mystery novel.:Vampire1:

Slyvax should have realised this would all happen when he created psychic tau

If you want you can edit your posts to make sure whatever you have originally posted is crystal clear, but we won't change the "content".

Hmm

Kittens... :konrad:

EDIT: we will have a new character joinin us soon, I can close recruitment if you want after this. How comfortable are you with the number of characters here? Bear in mind that we are in very early days here, I have a huge plot for us to all get through :D

EDIT 2: don a bit of admin, Pow's character statty-mo-bob is at the front and the two bail whales' removed

I don't mind a couple new characters. It'd still be pretty manageable, and helpful if anyone else decides to dip out. I'd love if someone could figure out how to get a necron in here, now that they're something beyond mindless machines :D

Honestly Darvy, I would do it myself, but I already have our glorious knight. Of course, however, with Mannfred's permission we could work together on it :D

Nah, I wasn't being completely serious; I don't like having multiple characters unless I'm GM-ing, the characters always end up being unrealistically friendly to each other. xD

But I do actually possess a Necron character who I've used in one...two...three... four roleplays now. He's grown to be very epic.
