Very good Santa, activity in the forge is always handy. Would recomend a tutorial that covers stuff that is in 40k that isnt commonly in fantasy (perhaps something with power armour or weapons or something like that)
Now I think of it, I should probably do a camouflage painting tutorial as I paint alot of camo.

Zombie dwarves
So time has come to speak of zombies and many other things.
I am starting a project for a friend of doing 20 zombie dwarves for his dwarf army(don't ask)
Besides just painting them like zombies I want help with idea's on doing them.

Skulls and green stuffed beards!
Because Dwarfs are all armored up you don't really need to worry about the body - it's the head that really makes a zombie Dwarf. There are some really useful bitz in the Zombies and Skeletons boxes - the horned-helmeted skeleton head for one and the bearded zombie head as another example. With a little greenstuff to cover the gaps a simple head-swap should be fine.

Why not take a pair of clippers and stab a few of their chainmail then greenstuff it to make woulds/ armour damage? I think some headswaps will be neccesary, maybe cut off some parts then strap them back on as if a necromancer has re-constructed their bodies?

Nice idea's I got more info from him on his idea behind the zombie dwarves. They are based off a idea of the legion of the damned.
The dwarves are warriors so dedicated to there clan and hold that even death does not stop them from aiding in the defense of those they loved. I am going to play with a few test models and see what they look like. Thanks for the idea's

Vannah's Creations Painting Tutorials for 40k This week ultramarine power armour
Jungle camo Step one Gretchin green basecoat
Step two Do some Y's in random places in Scorched brown Though I used reaper walnut on mine.
Step three Do some Ork hide shade Y's same as the others Including being placed over some from step two
Step four is like step 2 and 3 but done in snot green.
Step five is like step 2-4 but with Knarloc green
Step 6 just like steps 2-5 its another layer of y's this time in cathan brown.
Step 7 is a heavy wash of Devlan Mud.
This you have a fully tied together camo paint scheme I will post my fully finished troops in my empire's finest plog.

Reaper mini. He is a nefsokar familiar, I watched mummy returns and loved the mummies in it and well loved the idea of a pygmy in my army. That is what I found.

Thanks bishop I feel very advance styles leave newer painter's frustrated at times. I like giving quick and simple solutions to some paint schemes.
It was my memorial day project. You should see them all finished up after they are based.
