This is my Vampire, Sammael. Based on the winged vampire lord, I removed the single, useless wing and replaced it with a modified chaos space marine raptor sword arm and chaos knight shoulder plate. I also sculpted a rib cage style armour piece for his chest.

@Alastor Great work on that VL. Finally someone does something about that silly bat arm. That was always what bothered me most of all the Vampire Models. That and the useless giant spike on Vlad's shoulder.

Good work mate, I have done that conversion twice myself over the years and its always an improvement.

Why thank you! And I agree, nobody likes the bat arm. It's like the designer thought "I have a really cool looking model here, but maybe people won't know it's a vampire unless I turn it into a bat!"
