I have an Ogre army that is slowly being painted but with the new release I am painting up my Vampiress and her unit of grave guard

Got a lucky find at a hobby shop near a relatives place. Kemmler in the release packaging for $1.50...so I'm base coating him and thinking about how to paint him up.
He's also currently the only GW model in my army at the moment, probably going to be joined by the new Krell at release

Well I just based 25 so they are now finally done and dusted.
Have s few more somewhere so I can get the command sorted.

Was wondering the other day why I chose imperial guard, then vc with a focus on skeletons, and then skaven. So many models to paint....
All the metal dragons are tiny, and they all look really skinny and weird shaped 
thank god for the plastic zombie dragon, only dragon with real bulk to it since the forge world fire dragon and carmine dragon

My new vc project in prep for the new book (keeping under wraps till im done sculpting it, and necros, space wolves, and deamons, and dark angels for some clients of mine.

Was working on some spirit hosts, but then i got my first proper pay day from my job, so am now working on a zombie dragon, and will probably have some vargheists to add to that come saturday
Been heaps busy (I work 7am - 2pm 5 days a week now!) but managed to finish all of my skeletons (have ordered 40 more tho, so I can bring up the numbers from a unit of 25 and 2 units of 15 to 3 units of 30+)(I got them cheap, 4 GW skeleton sets and a grave guard set for around $70 australian, if I had ordered from GW... well from GW the same sets cost $50 each box, so woulda costed me around $250 australian + postage)
Have now started painting my grave guard, and am eagerly awaiting the new army book+cards+black knights+ wight king.
My aim is to get my blocks of infantry painted up first, at the moment the short term goal is 3 units of 30+ skeletons and one unit of 20 grave guard fully painted.

Repainted my solid core units I always use. Two blocks of 26 skeletons with hw/s, one 20 "man" unit of skeletons with spears and 20 ghouls. Unit fillers bringing most of them up to 30.
My Dire Wolves still looked okay but their bases need touching up as I redid all the bases. I had bestial brown drybrushed with bleached bone but went overboard with the drybrusing and they looked more like Tomb Kings LOL Just used devlun mud over the complete base, stones and all and they loock much better for it.
Now awaiting the new book to create a nice list and see what I have to paint or re-paint. Hopefully my 25 GG with GW's will still be viable but as far as I have seen so far they will be. Especally with the CC near and the new swarm rule.

currently trying to think of a paint scheme for my 1k VC army. Picked it up in october / november before the new book was released and never got a chance to paint it.

Finishing painting Kemmler while assembling the new Krell and Isabella along with a metal Vlad along with a Reaper Angel of Death (For use as a hero wraith).
I'm trying to figure out how to base Isabella since the piece to plug it into the base was broken off. I'm thinking of using one of the Mantic bone piles though if I can figure out how to line it up right since she really only has a single, tiny connection point...

Working to paint another 20 damn Skeletons.....
Finished making my Hex Wraiths Yesterday and they are looking good, bit of a pain to build but I removed all the attached balls to the scythes.
Think they looked horrid, also the plastic WK is built and painted now!

Her pose makes that night impossible, she's in mid stride with only toes touching the base. She does seem to fit with the bone pile to add more connection points though.
I'm also getting annoyed with Vlad because that spirit thing doesn't want to attach with it's positioning
