Now that I have got a week off work going to make a start on my Golden Bat mini. Going to give myself a deadline of four days to complete it just so i can get some painting in on my main force and start posting on my plog again before i am back work. Got it all planned out in my head so hopefully be able to execute it reasonably well.

Working on loads. mortis engine has been broken into sub-assemblies ready for undercoating. Trying a few more Zombie flesh testers struggling to find something that fits/ I like. just about to clean the mold lines off my crypt horrors. And working on some good old fashioned hand drawn paper banners, after reading a old issue of white dwarf with an article on banners I figured i'll play around with it a bit.

BFC AdMech fleet all done, 1K of Dark Eldar and Dark Elves check. Now it's time for some VC lovin'(does that count as necrophilia?).

Now building a Terrorgheist, got it together except for the wings for painting ease and it's now resting after a liquid green stuff treatment.
Man that thing is easy to put together, compared to the old metal dragons it is a dream come true.

Hopefully my health and the weather allows me to undercoat and paint it soon(humidity is really awful now). Got some nice resin tombstones for the base I will use that have been in a box for over eight years!
Finally a base big enough to use them, they were for a diorama but I got stuck with some huge leftovers that were just too big for unit fillers.

All my weekend jobs are now done so will browse forum for a bit before skulking back to the crypt to finish painting my mortis engine. hopefully will get it all finished up this weekend fingers crossed

Hope every ones having a great weekend too xD

Painting the rest of my bestigors. They are a mix of the old metal ones and the metal khorngors that I can't stand but they are what I ended up with during a trade so whatever.

I have 4 different projects on my desk waiting for me to make a decision about which one I should complete for the Golden Bat. I also bought some crackle paint to play around with and now I just want to start painting my Skaven as I had an epiphany on how to base them...

Argh! :swear:

I have just bought box of vargheist, and start to build them (still thinking about color to paint them) and I have started to convert some ogers into crypt horrors/ghoul unit fillers :)

woo-hoo! this will keep me busy for some time :)

A box of Perry Miniatures Men-at-Arms :)

Also, on a non-Warhammer note, I'm trying to create a map of a as-of-yet unnamed fantasy setting on a piece of software called Ortelius but I'm having trouble with it :- whenever I exit the programme it won't allow me to re-open saved files, and seeing as I worked on it for a number of hours today, I am certainly less than impressed!

@Bigbadbat The standard WH giant. I glued/greenstuff the extra arms it came with under the regular arms and used curved horns from the Arcane Ruins to make the "hooks" or whatever you want to call them. One is shorter than the other in order to make it more chaosy.
I also glued a pretty cool, triumphant Mordheim ungor to the base to add more flavor. He's holding some severed heads and raising his blade in victory. It looks like he's shouting, too.

Ghorgons are beastmens best rare. But that is like saying a bladder infection is the best kind of infection.

As for me I am painting some Beastmen for Santa
