I got a couple dire wolves and chaos warhounds so I can get some ideas for my dire wolf conversions.

I'm currently working on making the movement trays looks good, 99% of my army is painted, just need to make the basing look good now 
Finishing up my last Dire Wolves and painting up my third unit of Skeletons and new Clanrats. I quickly lose interest after painting the same unit too long so I swap after every five finished miniatures.
I'd almost went nuts when I did 40 skeletons in one go; my retinas were almost burned through with the all the Bleached Bone, Skull White and Dheneb Stone.
Having to paint as a job is also a big issue because after some time you feel yourself slipping away into the palette and you start to talk to your brushes...making an actual painting can get you a bit nutty but miniatures even more so as it's all so small and you tend to start staring.
I didn't feel like I was painting miniatures for fun anymore; it was like some grueling punishment straight from Hades. With this new tactic I'm going faster than ever and I actually enjoy myself!

Finished a Warpfire Thrower today and did some directional lighting in under five minutes :lol: Okay it doesn't look insanely good as I didn't mix but just used drybrushing and washed but eh...it's tabletop ready.

My tasks of the week: A sort of ibis-like bird in an anechoic chamber, a man sat at a table about to eat hisown arms (made from MDF, milliput & green stuff), a large painting of a steel mill-bell tower hybrid machine thing and a series of drawings of a man eating a fish and the consequences thereof.
Plant that is in a pot. He is a happy plant and his name is "plant". I feed him water from my water bottle and tell him he is a good plant while I stroke his leaves.
Did some more on my zombies today Need to get myself some red gore and some browny sorta colours for more parts of ther clothing (So far used khommando khaki, catachan green, scab red for diff bits of clothes)(mostly khommando khaki) Im thinking I should use maybe graveyard earth or something darker for the rest of the clothing. Need to get red gore because I am not happy with scab red on its own (It looks too purply)

I haven't done any hobbying for quite a while. My Mom is currently in a nursing home. It is very difficult for her. A few months ago she was very independent, driving her car everywhere, and using her new laptop,. Now she is confused and dependent. Other times, she is the same Mom that I know. Please send her prayers or positive thoughts.
I got the model I'll be painting for the Golden Bat in the mail today. Now I'll prepare it for priming. With the current temperatures I need it ready to just take out for spraying at the first possible occasion.
Thinking of my Blood Knights that I have painted - thinking of stripping them and repainting them with a blue/black theme.
