So, what's everyone working on?

In progress: Building the second Morghast of the two, with four more waiting to be built in their boxes. Once the first two are built I will start sculpting their bases and adding basing materials (slate, skulls, ice-spikes, cracked ice).

In Progress: Female vampire lord on foot, awaiting construction.

In Progress: 5 Finecast Blood Knights that I got on ebay for under £20 (I kid you not) After looking them over they are in decent condition, with no bubbles! They have some paint on them but need constructing.

In Progress: Nagash (Base sculpted etc. still need to figure out a colour scheme so I've put it on the back bench for now).

Finished: Not painted, but 5 metal blood knights and two converted mostly metal vampire lords ( took a while because I sculpted their bases, made some headswaps etc.)

I'll take pictures and create a new thread I think...

Having to finish a 2000k Point Marine army for a best painted Vote at a tournament I am headed too in April.
Sounds eay until I remember how much else I am doing at the same damn time.

My new Rares are shaping up. Got the Heiro built, most of my bits for the Casket are here, and the Engine has been sitting on its sprues for like two years. Gunna take advantage of this day off from work (cheers, Pilgrims) to get cracking after lunch.

Just assembled my first Grave Guard model ever. If I didn't have to do at least one more I'd say I'm sworn off them forever. That was the most fiddly time consuming bs infantry model I've ever built. You guys seriously do whole regiments of these? No thank you.

This post-Christmas break from work is always my most productive time of the year. Rattling through my second horde of Rose Maidens (dryads-counts-as-ghouls in my army). Hope to carry some momentum on into the New Year and get a bunch more models done before End Times Ennui sets in again.

Well, the rumours and hushed whispers were true. The dark Lady has awoken from a long slumber and will soon be venturing forth. She is still getting dressed to go out, currently only wearing her 'under' wear

Got the Vampire enthusiasm going again with the Nagash book. Got 20 Skeletons almost painted, but ran out of paint... Need to get some more.

In the mean time, I've got a Mortis Engine and 9 Spirit Hosts in the works. The painting queue is long, but very strongly populated by various Vampire Counts units

At the moment I am learning to paint on youtube and other sources, once I feel like I won't ruin the models I'll start painting skeleton warriors and crypt ghouls. Later today I'll start to assemble either a Coven Throne or a Mortis Engine it depends on the results of my other thread.

Do you not buy the boxes with all the pieces in it? Is there another way to do it.

Well, if I was building ordinary Blood Knights then yes. But mine are Lady Blood Knights made out of a mixture of High and Dark Elf bits (so far). I needed some more Cold One Knight left arms! Lots of places you can buy spare bits on-line, ebay of course, and specialist stores like Horde o'Bits and BitzBox. They buy boxed sets, break them down and sell the individual parts at a profit.

Lately, just been working on school. Working 40 hours a week and attending class full time is for the birds. But I've got a paint night planned after work Monday with a buddy of mine. Time to put some brushes to that Casket of Souls!
