I made it through the metal base coat and the black wash. It feels like I've made a big stride forwards! I used half a pot of Nuln Oil and it took over an hour to apply it to the whole unit!

Logistics is important! Storage, transport, where you keep what you are working on and with between paint sessions, all neglected but vital parts of the hobby. Time well spent, there.

Reds and gold now done - just faces, bases and detailing left , really. Getting there! 
Still at it... taking time off from detail work to start on the bases... let's face it, I am avoiding starting on painting 12 lovely female faces...
I would count the gems on this unit, but I think actually knowing the number would break my mind right now...:swear:
Primed the scratch ME ghost swarm yesterday. I hope to get some fitting magnets soon, I don't wanna order a pack when I need only 2-6 (ddepending on the size). Luckily I can start painting the swarm now, even without the magnets. That thing is eating so much time..maybe I'lll stop working on it for some time, to get motivation restored and don't start to get annoyed of it

Taking it slowly - spent half an hour getting the basic eye shapes right, now going to leave the dreaded pupils till tomorrow.
@Shadespyre Ouch, the only worse thing to paint than eyes is pupils. I've just started the layering on my last 10 savage orcs. Once their skin is done there'll definitely be a big sense of relief!

Right now I am in the assembly process. This is what takes me the most time as there is a lot of waiting for glue/green stuff to dry. I'm also very pedantic to make sure I use the absolute best possible bits for each zombie, which can sometimes take a very long time as there are many bits to try and many factors to weigh in (variation inside the unit, number of copies of the bit remaining, originality of pose, coolness, etc.). When painting it goes much faster. Usually do them in batches of 5, starting with rust, then skin, then bone and finally clothes and other details.

Working on my grave guard but I need to go to gamesworkshop maybe this weekend and pick up some new paints. I need more purple choices =P Thanks to @Farmer7574 for his suggestion on a color =P
