So, what's everyone working on?

@Shadespyre Your skeletons are cool, are you going for a block comparable in size to your previous unit? Good luck with the rose shields, they'll look great in the end.

Just got all that time-consuming bone done on my Black Knights and get to paint something more interesting today

@Farmer7574 This block is nominally 10x5, I think the others are 10x6. But there are so many odd extra skellies (I found bits for 2 more today) and unit fillers and so on that the current unit sizes are uncertain anyway... working on my Dark Peg conversion at the moment, trying to sculpt thighs and a bottom for a rider. New skills!

Possibly the last batch of these I'll have to make...

Also made progress on my Dark Pegasus conversion, and have decided how to "edit" my old corpse cart.

Not sure if this is where to post this, but my answer is finally (after years flitting between game systems and projects) finishing painting my first VC unit. Good feeling! Varghulf is next on the list...
Apologies for the late-night-smartphone photo quality :\

@Absyrtus Well, welcome to the undead side. Lovely first unit you have there. If you have more undead things in the works, I reckon you can start your own PLOG in this (The Dead Shall Walk) sub-forum. A lot of CN's members have their own PLOGS here where we all post progress of our work. :)

So unmotivated lately. Haven't touched a brush in ages. I really want to start my Nagash that's been sitting on the sprue since his release, him being one of the few undead models I have left unassembled, but damn is the big guy daunting.

@Absyrtus I think it might just be - I've had him for more than three years so he's up for a bit of paint. Since he used to be a champion of Khorne, I'm thinking all bronze armour with verdigris. Not sure about the axe though...

@Adam_Barrow My Nagash is in exactly the same state, although I'm gonna build up my army a bit before starting him (he just wouldn't look right commanding one single measly unit of skeletons!).

Perhaps you can build up to him. After a long painting break I usually start with something really simple.

@Farmer7574 Not a bad idea. Maybe the stages of painting him can replicate that, since he'll be assembled and painted piecemeal. I don't have much left that needs assembling for this army, and even less to purchase (x2 trebuchets for Screaming Skull Catapults are looking to be my last Undead purchases).

@Shadespyre Awesome conversion you've got there!

Just got an army shot done but Tinypic keeps removing/deleting the image whenever I upload it...

"The page you requested cannot be found. It may have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable." is what I keep getting.

I hope this is just a temporary problem of theirs...

EDIT: The problem seems to have been resolved.

Damn computers... If it was mine, I would suspect some anti-virus shenanigans... All the best in bringing it back to life! Minis are easier than that ;)

And after a long break, I am doing some real conversion work, with filing, cutting, drilling and sculpting. Stormcast is already mutiliated and now I'm remaking Bloodstoker into something more mundane and slavic ;) Also started a long and tedious conversion of Imrik's dragon :)
