So, what's everyone working on?

After I got home from work today, spent a whole heap of time working on the spare strigoi from the ZD/TG kit. He is almost finished, just gotta do some details on the shield I put on his base and he will be done. Next I start putting the finishing touches on the unit of ghouls he will lead.

My current project is our new gaming table. I'll post pics when it is complete. Thus far, I have glued half a sheet of 2 inch polystrene to a 1/2 sheet of plywood. The next step will be carving a river that runs off the board on on edge, and forms a small lake in another corner. On the lake shore, I will be adding magnets. My intention is to create a removable cliff with a waterfall(when attached, it will cover roughly half the lake). I'm considering magnetizing all of my terrain as it would make it easier to store. Toss the board on the wall, attach the terrain and the room is clean. I'm also forcing myself to paint all my skellys. I got 150 cheaply...and didn't think of the consequences. LoL All those primered skulls glaring at me from my desk. Oh well, at least they aren't elves.

Currently working on loads, got a garden of morr primed and ready for painting. A TG just needing final highlights, then on to a zombie dragon also primed and just finished a vampire from the spares. Here's some pics

Well, it's back to the skellys. Hopefully I'll have at least 80 drybrushed today. I've been kinda lazy. Also hoping to finish up my black knights as all that needs painting are the swords and the standard. Funny that I've put off so little work for almost 3 weeks. Lastly, there are a few final touches to finish my mounted lahmian and brett damsel vamps. Good luck all.

While I'm green stuffing the hell out of a Hierotitant for my TK, I needed some other projects to do while the green stuff is curing.

So in the mean time I managed to finally do my Spirit Host "host", having done 18 bases of them! Still have more ghost left for at least 2 more bases, but I like the look of them ranked 6x3 so I stopped at 18! It's not like I'll be needing those 2 extra base anytime soon anyway!

After those I tackled another unit, and it's my Blood Knights. I have 10 Knights, and while I had done most of the converting before, I needed to greenstuff a bunch of stuff so I decided to do that. They are about 95% done now, only a final green stuff step left and it'll be over!

After that I might take some pics of those 2 units and post them in my log

Right now I'm building a box of State Troops and 2 battalions after my Warstore trip on Saturday, started up a IY 2010 Sylvania Empire army. Not going to get to painting the army any time soon, still got some VC and Skaven stuff to do.

Bought myself some paints to paint an ethereal with, two boxes of skeletons and an aristocratic vampire in finecast. (Need more skeletons for core!) Once those skellies are assembled, Ill have 40+ skeletons (the + because I use spare torsoes/etc on spare bases to make slightly more skeletons).
Working on finishing of my unit of ghouls, and need to finish painting the tau ethereal.

I'm working on so much stuff I don't know where to start. The list includes, but is not limited to, painting 40 skeletons, 30 zombies, 10 ghouls, 20 converted grave guard, 4 converted vampires, 2 converted wight kings, 5 converted blood knights, converting and painting another black coach, annnd...that's enough for now. I've got months of work ahead of me!

Thus far, I've got 70 finished zombies, 40 finished skeletons, 10 finished ghouls, 10 finished grave guard, one finished terrorgheist, one finished varghulf, at least 6 finished vampires, etc etc.

I'm prone to fits (that sometimes lasts for months) of not wanting to paint skeletons and zombies and really dead looking things. Maybe it's because this is the only fantasy army I've ever owned, I don't know. But I often times have an awful lot of trouble working on anything other than vampires themselves.

How about you guys? Anyone else suffer from this?

Yes at times I too suffer from being bored with a army but I always have reaper figures to keep me sane.

Currently We are resurrecting my empire army from the depths of primer. Soon we shall have test figures.

at the moment i am working on taking a bretonnian batallion and making the red duke on abyssal terror, 24 grave guard, 5 blood knights (built and champion converted) and with over a hundred spare bretonnian knights...i'm thinking some black knights. i have a black coach to build and four characters to paint, with five days before i go back to uni, hard work!

Just finished putting together my first box of Grave Guard. Still in the middle of painting my necromancer (using the Heimmlich model), vampire lord, varghulf, and the rest of my batallion. I have about 10 skeletons and a corpse cart finished now, and a whole pile of stuff to go. Loving every minute of it!
