I like the sound of your plans. Maybe you can go for silver armour dulled down with washes to vary it from the robes and stuff. And dark red/crimson would look really striking with all those shades of grey, or maybe even orange.

As for me, my Zombie Troll is finished, I'll post photos tomorrow. The rest of the zombie unit is almost ready, they will follow (hopefully) shortly

First I thought this was something from Ultraforge or Creature Caster, then maybe something from Privateer Press - but I wasn't able to find anything resembling that... I'm intrigued And I guess we'll have to wait for the mystery to be uncovered?

Working on a fun filler for my first zombie horde. Zombies have been enjoyable to work on so far, the conversion opportunities are vast and the painting fairly simple.

Back to my bad habit of painting ANYTHING other than lovely female characters. Finishing off things I abandoned two years ago instead!

Also in progress - the biggest model I've ever painted...

Been playing with a second unridden Zombie Dragon (UL Warsphinx), and really ripping off your ZD @Shadespyre. Building up a mausoleum for him to sit on as we speak.

Just put together an achievable 'to do' list for the next two months: 19 zombies, 6 black knights & a necromancer. This will flesh out all my current units and give me a nice foundation force from which to build around. Currently ploughing through those 19 zombies!

@Adam_Barrow Your three dragons are coming along nicely. That mausoleum base works well for the small one.

@Farmer7574 It's gunna work, I think. I'm tempted to leave that third one on the ground because it will give the three models a tiered look. Not like my friends will care it's short for a Sphinx, they're just happy somebody else is still playing 8th. I'm not gunna rush into whatever his base ends up looking like.

Working on more vampire characters, next up Vlad, Blood Dragons and Neferata and her court of lahmian vampires. Not sure tho if I should paint some special and core infantry too, I already have so many characters ready for battle.

Slowly working on converting Arkhan the black into a tomb herald as well as a converted Harbinger of Nurgle (sorry I'm a Chaos players well )

I finished my long waiting "Fell Bats" - now it'll be until weekend until I could make some photos of them. It's a good time to tidy up the working space - it remembers two projects and it's full of various bits.

@Count michael I'd love to see your finished conversion when you're done. I've got Arkhan waiting to be converted into something, although he's not going to be a tomb herald.

@Borgnine Work spaces get like that - especially when you do conversion projects! Looking forward to seeing your bats.

Had a visit from my gaming buddy with a selection of minis to assemble for him (he is baffled by pins and magnets and so on!) so I'm in modelling mode. So far today I have assembled his Mordheim captains, Gamezone Harpies and a Russian HMG, plus refurbished two Grenadier skeletons, a wraith and a counts-as banshee... yes, I should be painting vampires...

I also started putting together my first Forgeworld model, it was going okay only to find it has two right claws and no left claw. Currently in negotiations with FW for a replacement!

I'm working on my Flesh-Eaters. My FLGS has started a Path to Glory campaign, so I'm letting the dice decide what I paint next. At the moment, I'm still working on my initial warband: a ghoul king on a terrorgeist, twenty ghouls, a ghast, and a trio of crypt horrors. In the background, I'm working on some various ghosts - including a mortis engine - because they're just so easy to paint!

I've got 8 character models with paint on! It's unusual for me... two almost finished, one half way, the others have stalled a bit while I think about colours some more. I like the pink though

I got the first three done. Taking a break to do some shopping. I think I've now got or ordered pretty much everything I will add to this army!
