Alright,

I spoke with Girathon and this sounds cool. Add me to the list. I'm new to Vampire Counts be I am going to need some motivation to get all these Skeletons painted.

I will pledge 200-250 a month. Do points carry over? If I paint Mannfred(roughly 500 pts) does this count for 2 months of work?

I have my list posted in the army list forum but haven't got any feed back on it to see if its even a viable list(first one I have ever written) so if any of you have a second maybe you could take a "boo" over there and see what you think. I would like to have a list "fleshed" out so I can just go full steam ahead.

I haven´t been able to be here for a while, but with the new book I wanted to come back, and I just found this cool Thread. If possible, I want to be in!

I´m not sure about the final points value, but I pledge 2000-2500 points of a Barrows-themed VC army, including loads of Wights and led by a Vampire based on the Vlad miniature (not sure yet how to convert him, but I will). monthly points-value will be at least around 250 points (probably more, considering the size I am aiming at), + a few extra Zombies for summoning.

EDIT: Will we have to post a full list when the event starts, or will we be able to change/choose our next project steps each month? Or something in between?

You post a list of models you want to paint, but it can be changed(preferably to add things in mind) as you go along.

Possibly a little ambitious, but here we go (this is adding to an existing army):

1 Vampire Lord
1 Vampire
1 Wight King

24 skeletons - fc (I may do 2 if I have time)
20 zombies - fc (I may do 2 if I have time)
6 Bat swarms

24 GG (the old Nightmare Legion) (I may do 2 if I have time)

1 Varghulf (I may do 2 if I have time)
12 Cairn Wraiths
1 Cannon
1 Giant

This should give a boost of between 2,600 and 3,500 to my army.

Rough List of things I want to paint:

- 1 Vampire (based on Vlad)
- 2 Wight Lords (one of them a standard bearer, might do another one depending on how many points I come up with)
- 2 or three units of GG
- a unit of flying, burning, ghostly heads ans skulls (either as Ghosts or bat swarms, haven´t decided yet)
- 2 units of Skeleton Warriors
- 1 Unit of Zombies
- 1 Unit of ghouls
- 1 Varguhlf
- 1 Necromancer

All in a rocky,maybe snowy setup (bases + some terrain pieces should I find the time); and I´m thinking about adding a mist-effect to the baes (still working that out though).

Looking at the list, maybe I should go think about it again, might be a little too enthusiastic for only a couple of months...

Don't worry, you still have two weeks left to decide. Either one is a good choice(the more diversity in this the better)

Ok my DE lot will consist of the following:

I'm also painting some other stuff, but I'm not 101 yet as to what it will be. The book is out in August so thats my deadline, and anything else is gravy as they say. I'm currently working on a VC lord with a few others to follow that I'll probably selling. Shameless plug. I may be emigrating again this summer so my hobby funds are pretty much locked, hence the paint and sell approach.

i just started the VC and got the batallion box and a winged vampire + 10 dire wolves to start with.
I also still have a box of empire knights that will be converted into black knights.

My pledge will be to have a fully painted 2000 points army by halloween.
Current units will be :

1 necromancer
1 Wraith king

20 zombies
20 skeletons
8 black knights
10 dire wolves
1 corpse cart

I'll add more units when I have decided what to get though.
