I just went through the whole plog in one go.. And I loved it all.. Those banners and the GG unit are freaking amazing.! Holy cow you're one talented guy!

I will steal the banner plastic card idear, looks simple to do and I'm getting tired of the GW banners in the VC boxes..! I might even try to replicate that exact banner with some colour alterations, I am a complete sucker for the moon with the black branches in the front and the graveyard gate..!

Please do us all a favor and expand the army at some point

I'm touched by your words, but this might get you caught for thredomancery. You shouldn't post in threads that's been inactive for so long... but guess I'm the one to blame for that being the case though

Anyways, I'm glad you liked my army. And I am always glad to inspire, so feel free to make that banner. A piece of advise though, don't do as I did, and paint the moon in the freaking centre! I'm might have to repaint the banner at somepoint because of that...

In terms of expanding... that might take a while. I'm painting up the last bits of dreadfleet now, and will paint some Warmachine miniatures after that. Them build some terrain... after that I don't really know. Might build some VC characters and possibly a varghulf, but on the other hand I got Arrer Boyz waiting, and an whole Ork army.

The Carsteins are indeed popular. I don't even know why I choose them, fluffwise I like Blood Dragons and gamewise (if you would imagine from the fluff how they would do battle) I like the Necrarchs. I think it was the the 7th book that drove me into the Cartstein family. But I'm not complaining too much, they are cool ^^

High elf archers legs to be precise. And the big headless guy is a rat ogre from the Island of Blood starter kit, I just scraped all his fur away and cut of his tail, so he might be hard do recognise.
