What mount? The one for Arkhan, Mannfred and Neferata?

Those are not mount, and don't have rules on their own. The whole model have a single stat line, with a single batch of rule, nothing rider or mount specific. The rules that you could safely attribute to the mount, is Large Target, Fly and Terror.

You can't take a Mortarch on foot or on something else, nor can you give other character a Dread Abyssal. The rider and the mount is a single entity in the book.

Wow! That was a lot of reading ( and I skipped a lot)

OK my two pence, models are OK. Nagashhhhhhhhh is awesome. But others are just OK. Obviously they are more TC constructs than traditional "undead" but I feel the monsters are way too bulky and square, very much transformers. Mr Black in my opinion should have a bit more parched skin to be aesthetically pleasing to me so I'm quite disapointed there. In my mind he looked more like luscious the eternal than a Generic tomb king. I will be buying the characters, the book and Nagash but will be forgoing the mounts and MI. I wasn't a fan of the Chript horrors pack either.

As I said I skipped a bit, kinda rushed when I saw the discussion about the massive price hike and how it's affecting us all, especially those in Oz. Taobao dudes, Taobao. Try it out. It's the Chinese equivalent of eBay. I'm sending a link to some of you. I hate that the current GW strategies are making a lot of us abandon what for most of us is our first real love and possibly strongest childhood memories, every time I smell a new pot of paint, some static grass or gaze at the fine artwork in a new book I go straight back to being seven and holding my first serpentine dragon made of lead!

I bought blood knights for 150 RMB or something and although they weren't fantastic they work. I remember being amazed cause I could have got a unit of 15 for the same price as 5 of the real ones!!! 150RMB is about 15 sterling. Or about 30 dollars Canadian. I got the conversion kit for Ork Komandos plus they came with all the parts of normal orks to make 5 and a Nob for 45 RMB 4 pounds 50 pence!!!!!!

As soon as they have him( probably a month after release) I will be buyin 2 Nagash and probably for about half the cost of 1.

Fluff wise I love that Manny's going along with it so he can try to control Nagash himself.

@Mioum : Hmm I see, that is a little annoying imo. I would have preferred the character to have rules and the mount he/she is on to have rules as well so that it works like other mounted characters in Warhammer. That could have easily been done because you just put in the profile that the character is mounted on ____ creature, no big deal. Seems like they took a shortcut.

Does that mean Krell is mounted now? He has been changed to a mortarch. Or do you just mean for the new releases?

He's undead, can regenerate skin I'm sure. Of course the fluff will sort it out for us but I can't see that dude walking about around Sylvania dressed like that.

I honestly don't think a centuries old Liche gives a damn about whether his skin or lack thereof makes him aesthetically pleasing. Why put the effort into magically regenerating your skin when you can spend the time/effort/magical research required on something more useful, like working out how to raise bigger & meaner undead.

Besides, I find bone to be a lot more aesthetically pleasing than wrinkly old rotten skin.

He could have had a change of heart and become a pacifist. :P

(there was the option to have "lawful good" liche's in DnD when I last played.)

*Runs and ducks*

Also I see Zandri dust is now a spray, that should make things easier :)
I would like to see what those named box sets contain.

Some interesting things I picked up on. The Nagash novel has 1 along the spine so looks like all the end times books will have accompanying novels. Also in the last link there is a new tol novel listed the doom of dragon back. Any ideas on this as elf doom and blood dragon were meant to be coming out this year. Also a new gotrek and Felix novel. Wish they paced these releases more, the end times will make you bankrupt!
