Well today, I accidently got a girlfriend xD

Well done... more than I could ever do. It must be particularly satisfying having only just been diagnosed with.... that thing I can't spell.

EDIT: Some news from me:
I was just told yesterday that no-one wrote my Cambridge references.
The deadline was the day before.
Finally, this mists of Pandaria thing.... is this basically just Kung-Fu Panda?

... Yes Harland. Yeeeeesssss :|

Many thanks xD You seem to think that being diagnose with schizotypal personality disorder (ergh such a mouthful) has somehow changed me. I'm the same as I have ever been, just now with a label around my neck. So yeah I guess the label adds some emotional baggage, nut it is kinda a relief that its not me going crazy, I'm just being paranoid (kinda the same thing I know, but you get the point  )

*incidently I'd better introduce myself..

yup, new thread time! Er, do I need to do this in beast within? I don't think people will find dissociation personality disorder disturbing (well not quite MPD, but nearly..), will they?

Had a really bad day healthwise yesterday.
Sending Johnny a ton of elf stuff and other random things I hope he'll enjoy.
Contemplating if I should participate in my club's ETC event in a few weeks as I hate the format with a passion. So many blanket rules and obvious flaws, I don't know where to begin.
My TK's are my only remaining army that is fully painted and I'm too busy to get the vamps done. Might consider finishing the beastmen and hopefully score well in the best themed army category. With no true line of sight, I may go with beasts as my bowmen need to see through the necro knights for my list to work. That 1" rule of 8th edition irritates me to no end, there just isn't space for everything.

Finally, this mists of Pandaria thing.... is this basically just Kung-Fu Panda?

Actually the Pandaren were introduced in Warcraft 3 (with the Chen Stormstout/Pandaren Brewmaster Character), which predates Kung-Fu Panda. If anything I wouldn't be surprised if Kung-Fu Panda was inspired by warcraft.

Sitting at home basically and taking it easy with the volunteering. I just hate having to call everybody to explain that I need to take it easy and whilst it's all love and understanding from their side I feel...bored!
I am actually doing quite good lately though I suddenly collapsed right outside the store I just bought a new pair of pants at two days ago.
Darn hospital didn't want to let me go and kept me for a full day whilst I said it would cost me too much money I don't have. It's not like they would magically find what was wrong with me and heal me. The guy in the first aid, whom I can remember vaguely, turned kind of white when I had to recount my medical history. Every time having to call him back "I'm not done yet, there's more!"

I hate it when doctors who don't know me think they can cure me or something. It's done, it's over and every day is a day extra. I might drop dead in a minute I might live for another thirty years, why waste all that time being freaked out about it or laying senselessly in a hospital? I really didn't feel bad afterwards, just a little foggy but so is everyone who faints. My heart was performing better than it had in years actually and my blood results were really good! I think it was my low blood pressure that got to me and the change of the seasons.
I think it was my medical history that turned against me, anyone else would have been kicked out of the door ASAP.

So I feel great otherwise but have to do nothing for a week just to be sure.:swear: Just cruising the i-nets and finishing the base for my DE Witches for a painting compo at the local GW this weekend. Friday a friend of mine will come and visit me who has known me for over four years but still spazzes out every time I "come near to death"(his words, not mine).
Going to do some scenery building together; my Garden of Morr needs a nice paint-job. :D

Heh I swear I am undead; my body died years ago yet I live

Lucifred,

I don't think you're a different person. I just know what it's like to be diagnosed with something, and I know that getting a girlfriend must have been a massive self-confidence boost. A reminder that you are, in fact, sane. Sorry if I was being presumptuous.

Zephyr,

I'd gleaned that you'd had a rough medical history from your previous posts, but all I could remember was that you had Arthritis. There's something wrong with your heart as well? Anyway, good to see you're still kickin'

Busy as hell with university, but trying to paint at least a unit of 10 models every week. So far so good, but this week's painting schedule is probably going to fail :D

That's the one thing that they never mention when promoting universities. All that talk about student life, parties and whatnot, but never actually saying that you actually need to spend around 14 hours a day studying

what's your current condition, if you don't mind me asking?

Alive and painting, not kicking. But seriously I have a mystery immune disease which makes life really miserable (Dad's got Lupus but I do not show the typical signs), advanced Pagets from which comes arthritis and tinnitus(really afraid of going deaf or that the Tinnitus will get worse), a heart that goes too much bump in the night and that is just the tip of the iceberg. Let's just forget the mental issues too while we're at it. :P

Yup I am a wreck and already am living at double my life expectancy. I continue to amaze as I still walk around without aid, live on my own(got some household help though) and even work three jobs as a volunteer.

I frequently joke about all of it though. I'm just happy to be around still though it is sometimes tempting to just roll over. My hobbies and pets literally keep me alive and sane, well sometimes. Painting that Terrorgheist was a real ...terror. Still messing around to get the base right.

You never cease to amaze me Zephyr, still plodding along.

Well my 'condition' whatever you call it, is woresening.. Since I am now "officially" with a personality disorder, for whatever reason all the.. 'symptons' have got worse, I can only imagine to me no longer trying to repress what is now an integral part of me. Which leads me on to this, I think if I continue to type on this forum I owe it to you:

As well as being diagnosed with Schizotypal personality disorder I was also diagnosed with a really odd thing, more simply described as a form of Dissociative identity disorder, with my other half, Eleanor. Rather than 'losing control' to her like standard DID, Eleanor exists in the back of my mind, literally a second person in my head. Thankfully we get on well, and if any of you know my personality we're rather similiar (well we are the same person) but she is slightly more moody, lonely, but rather upbeat about life.

Anyways, she's always commenting in the background on things I post, and my counsellor thinks she needs more freedom, even though she is incapable of controlling our body, we tried :)

Therefore, whenever Eleanor wishes to get a thought across I'll use *text like that. So..

*well, hello guys

Huh.

Forgive me for seeming a bit eager but...

so is it like two people are in your head? Can you have a conversation? .... sorry, I don't know why, but I've always wondered what it would be like.

Not at all. Yes it is pretty much exactly having someone else, albeit similiar to you, in your head. We have conversations but not with words, we kind of communicate by thought..

Maybe I should start a "meet eleanor" thread. Then we can have fun answering questions, and we get to vent stress :)

Lucifer; ah yes DID, MPD is no longer an official diagnosis is it? Cannot say I find this so weird I look upon you differently now. At least Eleanor sounds friendly and you both have a good therapist too. Most would just go for repression or forced integration.
I know two people that have this too ;-)

@Johnny Bigspender, oh well it is for a good cause...right?

In unrelated news, good G-d I love my Testors Dullcote! High humidity but all went well.

Fair enough Zephyr, I can't blame you after all :)

*DiD is the new name for the same condition, purely because the "others" are created through stress rather than being present from birth. We're not different personalities rather than a different side of the same person.. kind of. Yeah not really easy to describe xD

Testors dullcote, a wash?

I'm now trying to wrap my head around the idea of someone bringing Eleanor out on a date.

It's not working.

ok, that's.... actually quite cool.

Anyway, why not make Eleanor's text italic? I only noticed that it was Eleanor there the second time I read it.

And Sweeney.... Lol.

So news for me, news for me.........

Well, I'm in a stage adaption of the Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy, as Fook (cause I'm a bit of a nerd) and Number 1 (cause I have quite a large lung capacity...)
And I have my SAT on Saturday.
And I've been dragged into a huge commitment that I really don't have time for, so I'm trying to pull out (I don't even do much anyway...)
Oh, and my Cambridge application is still a shambles. Yaaaay.

very well, italics it is!

Going on a date? The hell, I have our imagination to play with, much better than real people, plus it'll stop
[lucifer's real name] from looking totally gay xD

That and I don't like restaurants etc. Only very violent movies :D

you doing the proper version of H2G2 Harland? I absolutely love it, got the trilogy of four collection of all stories proudly on my book shelf
