Blood Dragons are incredible. They hermit themselves and train to be as good martial fighters as they can. Then they test their skills on everyone who crosses their path, usually whooping their asses. The look of the Dragons is awesome, their fluff is the best and they are just so damn cool in every way. They are the heavy armored Ninjas of Warhammer. And what is cooler, than a ninja? A ninja Wizard? An armored ninja? Well the Dragon is all of these!
yea but a Strigoi, can probly rip a Blood Dragons face off before crawling off to die some place
Strigoi are also great. One thing for sure is better with Strigoi than the BD, name. Blood Dragon sounds pretty lame, you might think he's somekinda wannabe-superhero, but the name Strigoi Vampire makes your hair go white.
ive voted for Lahmia, because it was a toss up between them and Von Carstein as to which had the better model, and the Von Carsteins seem to be the first thing that people think of when they think vampire. so i went for the still cool models, but not the expected.
BLOOD DRAGONS!
great fluff and quite sad in a way...
awesome in combat and bascially the perfect evil knight!

"Halfings are watery and bland, dwarves thicker to the point of being flat and stagnant. One does not drink such things unless one absolutley has to.Elves are like well aged claret-rich but often overly sweet,a treat best reserved for special occasions or as a dessert. Personally, I prefer a kislevite-of Gospodar descent if possible- but they are a little strong to serve at a dinner party"

Gotta be necrarchs for me. A dessicated vampire holed up in a crypt for a few hundred years slowly going mad and when he does go out for a stroll he kills all the local wildlife with a winds of death spell and then uses the corpses in further experimentation? Pure awesome
I like the Necrarch bloodline myself, it just seems like the most logical to fear. With Von Carstein, you may just be governed by a cruddy leader. With Lahmia, they stick to the upper class, what does a peasant care? The Strigoi, meh, they're ghoulish, wow
. And Blood Dragons, at least you can die honourably. With the Necharch, you're the focus of numerous, painful, experiments. And, you've most likely been kidnapped.

I must of missed this thread
Well Obviously Necrarchs for me!
i just love the idea of a vampire whos bloodline enchances their magical abilities by a rather large degree and also spend their rather long lives researching the arcane and gaining more magical power.
I mean whats more badass than slaughtering a nation to get a book hehe
Also their rarity also appeals to me and W'soran has always seemed pretty cool.
Out of all the bloodlines I think they are one of the most likely to contain -very- old vampires.
Plus they're very hot!
P.S. I also loves the noble Von Carsteins

Well... read my nick
Sadly, bloodlines are almost gone now, from the game as well as from the new fluff, so thanks for that, GW:devil:

My Favourite Bloodline (Though it was a difficult choice) would have to be the Strigoi.
As much as I like the Necrarchs for their Necromancy, and the Blood Dragons for their Honour... the Strigoi win out simply because they are the outcasts.... and are a reminder to the rest of the Vamps that they too have such a beast within.... sort of an embodiment of fear for the rest of the Undead.
(Though the History of Abhorash rocks!)

Voted for Necromancer.
I'm the kind of guy who appreciates hard work. Necromancers exemplify just that, they haven't got an eternity to become good at what they are and they haven't been granted their strenght (in this case powers of mind) by some blood gift as the vampires have.

I love both Blood dragons and Lahmian. But Lahmian is the closest to my beloved Khemri and the most elegant.
With Lahmia, I would be able to use many unit in both armies.

I love them all Hard to choose a favourite! The martial artist in me have to say blood dragon though but I really dig Nechrarch and Strigoi too!

My vote went to the necrachs i mean what more could you ask for? a vampire who spends hundreds of years in his labrinyth to emerge as a powerful lord of minions far superior to the normal zombies
BLOOD DRAGONS ARE FOOLS WITH BICEPS WHERE THEIR BRAINS SHOULD BE

Blood dragons, definitely. Martial pride, mixed with arrogance, with a touch of twisted nobility make them almost irresistable choice.

Only one blood line has posed any threat to the peoples of the old world, the Von Carstein's. It is their bloodline where all the races learned the terror of the Vampire Counts, and the fury of the undead war machine. Lahmia has their beauty and subterfuge, the martial prowess of the Blood Dragons, the magical capabilities of the Necrarch, and the bestial fury of the Strigoi all pail in comparison the the terror the is felt when the Von Carsteins take the field.
For the Undead Empire!
