Anyway, finished the man and am halfway through with the woman, so here's an update.
Also, for the sake of sompleteness, here's the completed car again.

I think I have seen something similar done, but in model form, and I think it's a really good idea. Is that last picture the second or third stage of the transformation though? Because I think that it doesn't look all like a Banshee just yet.

I'd increase the amount of movement seen in the figure, within regard towards the hair and dress in particular.

Long time no update.
Been busy drawing more characters and environments and I think I'm improving. Last assignment was to draw a centaur that should blend into the Metabarons graphic novels. In the end I got a bit excited and strayed off topic a bit, but my teacher didn't seem to mind.
Anyway, comments and crits are welcome. I allready know some things need changing, but it's always handy to see if other people see more.

He looks amazing! I wish I could draw like that! One little niggle though; the torso seems a bit too far back. I think it should be a little more to the left (or the centaur's front) as it doesn't quite seem in line with the 'lower chest' underneath the chest plates. Otherwise though, it looks incredible!

I agree.
I especially like the twisted horns and cool scythe. Looks like a nice Wraith scythe to me.

I agree with both Ease's and TDS's comments. At the moment he looks a little bit like a man stuck on a horse body, rather than a combination of the two. Don't get me wrong, it is superb work, just needs bulking out and brought into line.

Decided to dump some paints here I made some time ago. Posting them in chronological order, as I've been improving my painting quite a bit.
Alien skull I made for school. Supposed to be the missing link in human evolution so it had to look a little human. Drawing made in about an hour with 15 minutes spent on painting. Not to happy with the shading, but better than I expected from 15 minutes.
Again a school assignment. Paint to illustrate how I should look in about years based on family traits. About 2.8 hours of work.
Three monkeys assignment. Again made for school. We had to paint some theatre actors playing businessmen in the classic "See no Evil, Hear no Evil, Speak no Evil" poses. The outer 2 should be quite recognisable to any Europeans here. Not to happy with the hands, but passed the test nonetheless. 10h+
Something that isn't school related at last. The result of a 4 day X-men marathon and an attempt at trying some new brushes. Based on some existing artwork as this was purely a paint exercise, not a concept exercise. About 8h work.
Anyway, comments and criticism are welcome as usual.

I just don't get how you artists manage to paint to such a quality that fast. The light/shadow effect in particular is a mystery to me.

Long time since I posted anything here, but I thought this was worth putting up. Portrait of a French painter based on Allo Allo's Crabtree (basic facial anatomy that is).
Forehead's to short, but I'll fix that later. About 2 hours so far.

Started something new recently. Been giving ZBrush a whirl and am liking it very much so far. For those not familiar with ZBrush, it's a 2.5D sculpting program mostly used for concept art and Next-Gen characters in video games.
First sculpt was to get to know the program and try to sculpt a bust in 2 hours. Based on some random boxer.
Next one is a school assignment. We're trying to sculpt the head of a famous person. About 1.5 hours so far and still lots of work to do. Lots of more work to go.
If anyone can guess who this is, I'll send them a Zombie. Sanai and DoN should be able to figure out who this is though.
