Merenwen: TY, the headscarf used to be my great granddads. Still its good to see magic items being past down bloodlines lol.
They are traditional Dutch shoes, called clogs. Normally they are in wood, these are just synthetic. I wear them when I'm at home and it's cold outside 
Though, on the picture I was in a hotel in Indonesia. The management found the shoes to be amusing.

Crap.......just realised these pictures are about 4 years old at this stage. Luckily I'm an undying vampire and the passing of time means nothing to me.

The keeper: Awesome halloween costume, very fitting for this site.
Okay here is me and my fiance Jack at games day, the first pic is of me holding a model I made, it was a 20 min competition to make the best wizard you could make, there were loads of bits all around the table infront of you and you had to use what was there. I made mine at 12pm, and the comp had been going on since about 9am, so there wasnt much left by the time I got through the Que. and sat down to make my dude. I ended up not making a wizard (due to lack of parts) so it couldn't even be judged in the comp, but I made a cold one knight jumping over a wall. I think I did pretty well for 20 mins to make something. I had to use wood elf legs because there were no sitting knight legs around anywhere. Jack made a Chaos Dwarf but couldnt find a chaos mask anywhere to put over his face.
The winners of the comp were the ones who went and made the models first, because thy had better access to the materials and made big beefy monster wizards.

Yup...that's pretty much what happens against the Skaven. I had the same thing happen to me once. It was okay though, because my Vampire Lord epically hit and wounded with all of his attacks, tearing apart the Plague Furnace before he crumbled to death.
