I'll replace these with better pictures once I get a chance to borrow my dad's Nikon. The metallics also need a bit of a highlighting (waiting for the weather to dry up so I can matte varnish them, then drybrush on Gehanna's gold).

Metallics: warplock bronze undercoat > balthasar gold drybrush > citadel verdigris technical paint
Bone: armypainter bone spray undercoat > devlan mud wash > drybrush ushabti bone
Shields: ceramite white undercoat > devlan mud wash > heavily watered ceramite white
Bases: zamasi desert undercoat > heavy drybrush ushabti bone > light drybrush ceramite white

Love the "rising-from-the-dunes"-theme, Pirate. Had something similar in mind myself, but never got my thumb out to do it. Goddamn inspirational, that is. :D

Anyways, here's my first merry troupe: The Mah'Hat Mnfyt, Entombed Guardians of Lady Nofret IV of Great House Iximet (also known as Tarpit #1).

The pictures shows them angrily rampaging across my cluttered desk in search for new victims, a crisper paint-job and an updated Army Book.

Ok so here's some old one's. My first models ever painted at about the age of 9 or so (I don't repaint them for sentimental reasons):

I believe they were basecoated in bleached bone then drybrushed in snakebite leather then bestial brown. Back to front

My old school teen years stuff, all collecting dust and evading destruction by my nephews:

Skeleton swordsmen (converted using men-at-arms shields, swords and helmets):

More recent skeleton warriors:

Finally gotten around to taking some pics of some of my more recent skellies. I painted them throughout 2013 during the time I was getting back into the hobby after a long break. This time opted for a no-red colour scheme.

Sword & board skeletons:

@Jepserios If he's a bit intimidating for you to paint all at once, I'd make him bite size projects; robes, do something different, body, another something different, final steps.

I know what you mean. I painted the ogre mammoth for a friend, and it was super fun..but when it came tro my own ME, I was very happy with the result, but extremely annoyed during some painting phases
