So you think Mannfred resurrected Nagash? He just turned an Empire Grand Theogonist into a vampire..... im curious as to how they fluff this timeline out lol
one thing kind of bothers me so far.....
Sigmar's blood sees Manfred capturing an Empire Grand Theogonist and he holds one of the nine books of nagash.....
Now we have fluff where nagash comes back, with his nine books and has Vlad as a minion....
Wtf happened to Mannfred?
I think elf lords have same initiative as our vamplords.
So: if for any reason any elf gets asl, and you have equal or higher ini and asf, you get to reroll.
In case of nightshroud. the three models in b2b with it get asl, so your asf-lord gets rerolls against the models in b2b with him. all 5...
I frequently use only one rare as well. lately often relying on 1 ME+tome to be able to spend more points in rare
i do say that both TG and ME are a must-have in your collection and preferably 2 of each so that you can play around with lists.
Im still a fan of TG+ME with tome combination.
It...
my thought on Nagash....
He is completely OverPowered
He is completely OverPriced
i have no clue in what kind of army you field a general that is a monster that cant have any cover or LoS that costs 1k points.
Well, GW can go kiss my ass with their sorry "leave it to the diceluck" rule makeups.
If you have to roll a dice for it, its possible.
So for me Impact hits can happen, as GW so kindly made clear. (GW not actually writing a proper rule for it doesnt mean that reading properly the other rules...
It is ongoing yes, but both models do not disappear from the battlefield. The combatphase, however, ends and with it the challenge. which is reinstated in the next phase automatically.
Two single models (not in a unit) locked in challenge can still be charged and CR can still be influenced by...
Impact hits are before challenges so you can never be in a challenge before Impact hits are resolved. Even when it is an 'ongoing' challenge (i.e. a 2nd round because the first was a draw) then impact hits are still resolved before challenges are fought, so a character "locked in challenge" can...
Pitched against the right targets or in a flank, Bloodknights can be awesome.
B U T and this is a major 'but'
There is just far too much stuff across the battlefield that can quite easily hurt Bloodknights.
Bolttrhowers, Doomdivers, Canons, etc and lets not forget Lore of Metal are all...
Lets say a unit gets affected by soulblight. what if i move out the character in it and place him in another unit?
is that character still affected? Do i suddenly have to dispel it once or twice?
2) it shouldnt affect the whole army equally, since none of the units are equal.
When a terrible Varghulf or lord flankcharges an enemy that has been tarpitted by mindless zombies, they shouldnt have to worry about CR and crumbling, since its the point of zombies to be losing lots of models...
well, on the ethereal issue....
Ive always felt it weird and uncomprehensible how 5 hexwraiths could lose combat and crumble from a unit that has 3 ranks and a banner but cant attack them.....
As if suddenly they would get scared of a few ranks more and a banner even though they cannot be hurt...
mmm thats not stoopid at all. youre right about those hexies, theyre too vulnerable facing so much magic shooting and his magicmissile.
Im not going for wolves though, i have found them to be utterly useless against dwarfs since they just get shot to pieces in turn 1.
The gheists are the...
Btw @najo you asked earlier why it is that our poll turns out to be in favor of crumble.
Its likely because theyre the only ones voting, people like me didnt vote since none of the answers actually represent what we think is wrong with it.
:-)
I knew the chariotsteeds are not allowed to attack in flank/rear due to their strapped-up position. i just didnt know that counted for the ethereal ghost horde under the mortis engine that sticks out in the flanks and rear of the model. as well as in the front.
