The headless skaven is awesome. And don't be so hard on yourself with the guy emerging from the base... depending on what you're using for basing materials, just throw some weeds or what have you on his head and trailing down into the swamp and he'll look great!

Since I was going for quick 'n dirty, I basically drybrushed the entire model in progressively lightening shades of gray. I picked out the leather with a light coat of brown, and since it was already shaded from the gray drybrushing, the highlighting was already there. I picked out the bandages...

Yeah, re-reading the rules, it certainly seems like you're only allowed one model. If that's the case, I'll take a few pics of my favorite for the competition. Right now, that's probably the Nurgle guy, second from left. Either way, I'm glad the competition motivated me to get a whole rank done!

I like him just the way he his... if you use the red you've used for the rest of your army as a highlight/spot color, you can keep the blue and he'll still fit in. Keep going!

Went with wolf rats, since I love the models and they definitely have that "slavering charge" look about them!

Made from the 5th (?) edition hunchbacked chaos warriors, contemporary skeleton sprue, and a whole bunch of sawing and gluing!
