Death's faction trait grants a 6+ roll to ignore any wound or mortal wound, in addition to any other save or wound-cancelling abilities. If your general is a generic hero, not a named character, than you may also chose a command trait, arguably the best of them being every death unit within a bubble range of your general or any other death hero in your army gains a +1 on the faction trait rolls.
So yeah, basically, an army-wide 5+ feel no pain save in addition to any other saves, so long as your (generic only) general is still alive and you have heroes spread through your force. Its, frankly, kind of nuts, at least on paper.
