Nice. Although, I haven't played enough scenarios or matched play to think of any improvements. It would be nice to know what other people suggest though :)

I heared that Josh Reynolds has written a new novel about Nagash. It is called "Nagash: The Undying King". Exclusive edition will be sold during Warhammer World, starting on the 3rd of December.

It's only pity that the game will be released near the end of 2017... I wonder if we'll get some new models till that time....

As for the Dwarfs, it's a little too much for me... Steam Tank is one thing, but a steampunk armoured tophat is a completely different thing o_o I miss the times when factions were fantastic, but their equipment still looked pretty realistic. Still, it's a good change from stormcast eternal updates and it's pretty cool that they finally realized the idea of steampunk dwarfs ;)

But then, why a ship and not a mecha?!

I really like them, it's an interesting evolution of things like the gyrocopter / bombardier.
I find them more appealing (to me, at least) than the fyreslayers

But then, why a ship and not a mecha?!

I don't know if I would like a dwarven dreadnought... ;)

I'm okay with the look. I just wish we could get an update that wasn't order or chaos. We already had one dwarf update since AoS started.
Still, at least it's not a stormcast ship.

A ship ties into their lore and how they live most of their lives in the upper atmosphere.

That may be a justification made for the existing models, not the way around. But still, it's an interesting twist on the traditional undeground dwarfs and that's always something.

Oh, and that new boxed game? It's sigmarines versus khorne guys AGAIN

Whatever it is, there's no longer any reason to expect any sort of new Death models out of it.

Frankly, I'd be surprised if we get any new kits at all this year. Or next, for that matter. The best we can probably hope for is another battle tome that pretends to make new units out of existing kits by mixing & matching bits, or just painting them differently.

You are too pessimistic. The more they think everything out, the better, and it just gives time to buy all those kits you could have not bought yet (like me). I, for one, think that first we must get more lore on Death in AoS and new tomes which will solidify our presence and, especially, of different sub-factions, in the Mortal Realms. Everything will come in time, as it was always before.

I, for one, think that GW only really work on lore for the new setting in as much as it supports new model kits, and as long as we're not getting new releases, we're not going to get particularly significant new lore, either. Likewise, I believe GW puts thought and attention into the kits they're actually releasing, and that waiting longer for new undead doesn't at all mean those units or rules will be 'more thought out' when and if the studio finally gets around to them. Nor do I put much hope in battletomes that don't include new kits. For example, the rules and lore in the Flesh Eaters and Bonesplitters books felt considerably less thought-out than those of Battletomes that were released to coincide with actual new miniature products.

Of course, there are exceptions there.

They had been creating lore without models in that series of hard cover books (like Balance of Power) but they're not going to do that anymore. My local GW said they sold horribly.
