[Heinrich of Mousillon]

Hello, I am Heinrich of Mousillon. I started collecting Bretonnia and recently started a TVC army and am quite excited. Although, at least fluff wise, I was unable to remove myself from my love of Bretonnia so created an army of a Von Carstein seeking to take over the land of Mousillon of Bretonnia. Right now my force is almost all heroes and core troops but I am so far loving the army, it's a great change gameplay wise from Bretonnia.

Greetings one and all - I started my own "Hi - I'm new here thread" (HERE) before I'd noticed this thread!

Been on the fringes of WHFB for YEARS (I bought the box set from the early 90's that had elves and goblins in!!!), but never really played it much (despite collecting figures for a long time) as most of my gaming buddies were into 40K, so that's where my gaming time has been going...

Had a real clear-out lately, and now I'm firmly back in the gaming saddle, and with WHFB. VC have always fascinated me, so that's where I've started.

I live just south of the UK town of Bristol, near Clevedon / Weston-Super-Mare, in a village called Yatton. If anyone is local and fancies a game sometime, drop me a line!

Hello there folks. New to the site here, although I have lurked for quite a while, I am a big fan of all of your miniature work! It blows my mind.

I've been playing WH40k for about a year now, on and off, only recently have I gotten back into playing on a weekly basis. Tyranids is my main army, but I kept getting tempted by VC, even though I have yet to learn WHF. The models are so much more detailed and individual, so I ended up buying an Aristocratic Vampire figurine just to paint.

Well, in comes my husband. I go down to our local hobby shop the other day to "pick up an order" for him, and lets just say I now have more VCs than I know what to do with. So I figured I would finally join up as a member here, look at strategies, ask questions, and try to motivate myself to assemble this huge amount of models and paint them!

As for personal bits, I'm 23, live in the US northwest, and I am currently keeping myself busy while my husband serves in Iraq. I'm a longtime vet in dabbling in the geek arts. (Huzzah!) I've larp'd, done pen + paper RPGs, Computer Gaming (Currently World of Warcraft and Dragon Age: Origins), and of course Warhammer. I look forward to exploring the forums here even further and I am more than happy to answer any questions.

Wait........your not........*gulps*.........female are you? I can only recall two other members who were, it seems that Warhammer is not normally played by many ladies.

Anyway, a big welcome to Carpe Noctem. We can certainly help you with every aspect of your army, and of course we would love to see your painted models.

It is also fortunate you have just joined being a 'nid player, as I am just staring one. So if you want to post any pointers in my thread (in the Dead Space section), I would very much appreciate it.

Finally, if you do enjoy role-plays, make sure you check out the Vampire Council roleplay. One of the biggest of its kind and still going

I've been collecting VC for around 5 years and really started playing Warhammer again last summer, including some doubles tournaments at the local GW. I've got about 2,000 points fully painted, although I mainly play smaller games.
