Hail and well met. I am just starting out Vampires but have been playing Bretonnians for just over 2 years now. My Bret army is themed off of my old D&D party with my character being the lord and my brother's character,who turned himself into a vampire in the game and based on the size of the game is a paladin/champion. Now since I have a lot of minis sitting around I decided to expand the fluff of the armies and say that the VC will hail from Mousillon and use converted brets as my VC. When I field the VC I plan on using my Bret Lord/BSB as Blood knights.

As I am flipping through the book and see the great models I have no doubt that more and more VC models will find their way into the army. Thanks again for taking the time to listen to my story

I’m a long time lurker of this forum and finally decided to jump in wings first. I have been largely a 40k player since I was 13 (nids and later chaos) before my best friend, later brother-in-law (yes, I married his sister), introduced me to the wonders of the old world around three years ago. Now I have a nice 2500 point VC army and 2500 point dwarf army and we share a daemons army (slannesh and tzenetch). I have been coming here for thoughts and tactics to run my horde against the living or for counters when the wife steals them to smash my dwarfs and have decided it was time to stop lurking.

Hey all, I'm Matt. I just recently started Warhammer, with a chaos army of about 2-2500 pts. I used to play 40k, but not since 3rd Edition, although I still have my Tyranid army as well.

Vampire Counts was my main choice getting in to Warhammer, but I got my WoC army all at once for cheap. Since I have to save my money before I get around to starting my Vampire Counts, I am looking in to all sorts of painting, alternatives and conversions and love to see peoples' work and hear their tactics- which is exactly what I joined this site for.

So... This is probably where I'm supposed to put some sort of big impact opener for my presence on the forums... But sadly that isn't quite in my nature to do things like that, so I guess I'll stick with a simple (and kinda creepy now that I'm looking at it) "Hi, I'm here now."

On another note... The RP... big fan of them. Sadly I feel a bit lacking in my knowledge of the Warhammer universe, any suggestions on how to remedy this?
