To Mihael
I fail to see how Gregor's sharp mind is leading anyone anywhere. He was the late to vote for Antonio and then only after others had already paved the way. Yesterday he said little and failed to act."

"Nobody can be 100% sure of who is guilty. Maybe your failure to vote is more likely due to you being the craven whelp I suspect you are and you fear reprisal? Or perhaps your master over there has to grant you permission before you can do something important?"

To Gregor.

''Caleb? All things considered he seems more normal then most here. He was also attacked by the vampire so I do not think he is one.''

The woman gives a small nod, still facing her wall just to make sure she does not have to see that damned corpse.

Viktor stood forward and raised an eyebrow.

You seem to be quite relaxed today, Mihael. Certainly you acted as a mastermind and claimed to know who the vampires were... yet here we stand.

He paused and concluded
Therefore, I find you highly dangerous. Even if you are not a vampire you have been clearly driving many people's minds here through your apparently "flawless" reasoning. But this has proven to be not only faulty but dangerous, since innocent people keep dying

Gregor nodded politely towards Caleb.
"I find it extremely interesting that you immediately strike upon that event, which I did not mention, because it is that which seems to me to be the crux of the matter. She comforted you in a very... caring way earlier, as if you knew each other. Furthermore, she leapt to your defence against Bastion without a moment's hesitation. It hints to me of some form of bond between you two, perhaps camraderie or perhaps something of a more... intimate way. As Serethia herself was eager to point out as I asked her opinion, you are not likely to be a vampire at all: Antonio leapt for you upon his death, and you have not given much suspicious activity. Therefore, under this impression, I am to guess that the two of you are lovers."

He paused, waiting for a reaction.

Caleb stared at the man in shock.

"Lovers? As I said before I have never met her before this night. In fact, the only time we have touched is after I was so viciously attacked. I mentioned the incident in my response to you simply because I have no other basis on which to form an opinion of her.

Now may I ask you if your theory had been correct, why would it matter?"

Gregor shook his head slightly at Caleb's denial, but continued to explain.
"Well the question of the day is: why did Bastion die? He was certain you were a vampire: he even asked the host to weigh in on his decision to condemn you. That very night, he dies."
"Now, since we've ascertained that you are most probably human, the vampire must have had another reason to kill him. I doubt it was to frame you, for the fact is that none of us would be convinced by that argument were it to be brought to light."
"So whoever killed Bastion had another motive. Obadiah was the obvious choice for elimination due to his success in ferreting out Antonio, but instead the vampire killed Bastion. What motive could have produced such a killing? A vampire's lover endangered, perhaps."
"And so my trail of logical conclusions leads to Serethia as my principal suspect for being a vampire."

Caleb thought on Gregor's words for a few moments.

"That is a well thought out argument. Nevertheless it is flawed as I have no dealings with this woman, not now nor at any other time. To that end I say go ahead and vote for her all you wish. However, if that is your only reason you may want to rethink it, lest we send another innocent to their death. I make no move to defend her though."

Serethia without much hesitation or thought spoke again.

To all.
''Kill me if you wish. it is better to die to the crossbow bolts then...risk being tormented like that.''

She took a deep breath before motioning a hand over her right shoulder, trying to point at the mutilated male.

'' I can at least die knowing it might shut a few of you up and perhaps even stop you pretending to be...smart when clearly you are not. Heh or who knows, I no longer care.''

To Serethia
"There is no need to be fatalistic, nobody has actually cast a vote against you yet. In fact has anybody cast any vote at all this day?" Lucien said as he glanced at the lengthening shadows cast around the room.

"If anyone is working in collusion, it is them.."
Lucien pointed at Kate/Marcus "and Mihael over there. Although collusion is wrong as it implies two parties working together. I think it more likely he is being played like a puppet. What did they offer you in order to betray the rest of us, Mihael?
More late night encounters? Immortality?

"Sew confusion and follow my lead Mihael and I promise I will spare you in the end." Lucien said imitating Kates voice. "Is that it traitor?"

Vote: Kate/Marcus~Bounce

"Traitor?" Ulfr said when Lucien mentioned Mihael "I thought he was just strange" looking confused

Pointing at Markus/ Kate "I will vote for them again as my gut tells me they are evil " Ulfr proudly declared looking pleased with himself

VOTE:Markus/ Kate ~Bounce

" I shall stick with my gut over my head then I can't be tricked by any vampires and their fancy words" he boasted grinning proudly

Sigmund chuckled softly.

To everyone

"Whilst he annoys me, I doubt the boy is a vampire...I think Mihael is just a strange young man who likes to sound more intelligent than he is...perhaps he overestimates himself, I do not know."

To Caleb

Nodding at Caleb the Knight smiled politely at the man "To me you are the only one above suspicion for that awful incident in which you were attacked by the vampire Karl moments before his death."

To Lucien and Ulfr

"Apart from their...oddness and late night encounters with Mihael...what evidence is there that they are a vampire?" he asked with a frown "Admittedly I feel there is something...wrong with them...their mental affliction perhaps even a sign of being touched by Chaos, but a vampire? I am not so sure."

He smiled once more after a moment "I simply ask for a clarification on your reasoning before I myself decide to vote."

Kate sniffed sadly, her eyes brimming with sudden tears.
"Why are you being so mean to me! I don't have sex with people to get them to do what I want. I have sex with people because I love them. But I bet you don't understand anything about love, you twisted, evil vampire!" She said and then started sobbing sadly.
"Hey, now look what you've done!" Markus said angrily. "Why would you want to hurt such a sweet, innocent lady? Shame on you two! The logic clearly shows that I am not a vampire and neither is she. Obadiah was our friend, why would we want him dead? We voted for Antonio the vampire, if we were a vampire why would we do that? We had no grudge against Bastion unlike a few others I could name and we voted for Karl because he was a drunken pervert and deserved to die regardless of his undead status. It is much clearer to me and I hope to everyone else in the room that it is you who is the vampire. Trying to sow seeds of doubt and waylay suspicion."
Their face switched back to Kate for a few minutes who continued sobbing sadly and then back to Markus who turned to address Gregor, Serethia, Rosa, Caleb and Mihael.
"My dear friends, you have stood by Kate and I for the first two votes and have been rewarded with the deaths of a vampire and his human companion. Do not listen to these two, they seek to see us all looking like that!" Markus pointed dramatically to Obadiah's body, still fixed to the roof.

He paused to let that sink in for a minute and then continued.
"Yes, Kate and I are a little strange, maybe a little odd at times, but we all have our own quirks, our own differences and we shouldn't have to hide them. We shouldn't have to try to fit in with everyone else and be normally. We just want to be accepted. Remember Karl's dying words. Just because someone is different does not make them a vampire! More likely it is those who appear most normal, most calm, most sane, most average who are just holding a mask over the murderous beast lurking just beneath the surface. The vampires are clever. They seek to turn us against each other, but my friends as long as we stay strong together they cannot win!

With that Markus took a slight bow and then faded back to Kate who sat down on a chair and continued sobbing sadly unable to deal with the unreasonable hatred of Lucian and Ulfr

Looking at Sigmund confused
"Evidence? Like your so called evidence you and the others so blindly followed that sentenced an inocent to die"

Pointing at Markus/ Kate
"My gut is the only evidence I need, I know they are the vampire, it's because of them an honourable man was wrongly killed since they hated him then after they refused to show any remorse for their actions. Don't you dare speak speak to me of innocence your hands are stained in blood monster and I swear to the gods you shall die vampire, the fallen deserve to be avenged"

Turning to the others with a grin on his face
"So you fools, are you going to follow others blindly like sheep once again or are you actually going to show some back bone and decide your own fate"

To Sigmund
"I'm pretty sure I have made my reasons clear today and when I voted for them yesterday while the majority of you lynched Karl" sighed Lucien "But maybe you are right, perhaps I should look at it again. Let me see now... they have admitted to having a vampire relative, never giving a straight answer, constantly scheming with the deliberately distracting Mihael, their flippant attitude to Karl's life and subsequent lack of remorse, admitting to voting purely to eliminate people, the number carved onto Bastions corpse and the fact they are only pretending to be mentally diseased..... I think that pretty much sums up where I stand."

"Those are my reasons but it is not for me to convince you. I really do not wish to see a repeat of yesterdays fiasco so you should vote for who ever you believe is guilty. Be that, whatever it is over there..."
Lucien glowered at Marcus/Kate as he pointed in their direction "or maybe the drunk who has suddenly found his voice or the slightly too sweet little flower sitting over there" Lucien pointed at Ulfr and Rosa in turn.
"I wouldn't even be offended if you cast your vote for me if that is what you truly think."

"I... I couldn't vote again. I'm uncertain as to who is a vampire, and if last time I felt certain and I was wrong... I can't risk condemning another innocent. I'm sorry, I'm weak, but I can't do it," managed Rosa.

Vote: Abstain

Mihael returned the ghoul's (aka Sweeney) gaze with a blank, dead face.

"Fair enough, to many I must seem all talk and no action. I merely don't want to make the mistake of voting a human to death, which I haven't done yet I may add."

"Abstain."

Serethia uttered the simple word without much care before finally forcing herself turn around so her gaze could yet again fall on the dead body.

Loudly to herself:
"Why not simply kill him, why the...display."

Both of the woman's hands move to grip the lower part of her dress as she keeps her eyes still, after all it seems the corpse will be with the group for a while.

"Abstain? What an ingenious plan!" cried Lucien "While your at it, why dont you stick your fingers in your ears, shut your little eyes really tight and pretend you are some place else? If only someone had told Obadiah and Bastion!"

To Ulfr

Sigmund stared at Ulfr with a frown.

"Evidence? I provided none such. I followed reasoning provided by another which was convincing." he said softly "The reasoning seemed sound, the man was simply suspicious and made no attempt to lessen such suspicions. But your words ring true...I must accept at least partial blame for his death."

To Lucien

Turning away from Ulfr the knight bowed Lucien slightly.
"Thank you, though I'm not completely convinced I appreciate the explanation."

To everyone

Sigmund sighed.
"I do not believe Ulfr and Lucien are necessarily correct and as Uflr so keenly pointed out I have been wrong before."

Taking a seat the slumped warily into the chair looking much older than his years.
"As much as I wish to act, and I had planned to, once more the reminder of my fault in helping harm an innocent weighs too heavily on me...the guilt crushes me and impairs any decision I might make...and so I abstain."
