Have you considered using green stuff or porcelanicron (not sure about the translation... it´s a special type of modeling clay...cold porcelain maybe?) in thin stripes to wrap the upper part of the skeleton to simulate the scarf?

My skeletons! I did different wash treatments (i.e. black wash over white on some, bone color with sepia or black or red, etc) to make them look like were raised from different places/situations. However, my army colors are what ultimately unite them.

Very good looking skellies!

I like that each of your units is a little bit different in the colour tone of the blues/purples - I wonder how they look as an army - like Mad 'At already said, I also think you should start a plog and put all of this in a single thread and show us the whole army, bet it looks very cool
