Here are my Spirit Hosts. The conversion was partly inspired by Xpiredperson's awesome Spirit Hosts, showcased earlier in this thread. The models are based on empire flagellants, with added ghoul- and skeleton arms and heads. The rat is from the Corpse Cart, I think.

Here's my glowing in the darkness Spirit Host...

Hi!
Here's my glowing in the darkness Spirit Host...

Nice! What color did you use for the glow in the dark effect?

[strigoi85]

I don't remember, it was a very very bad color bought online from China on Ebay, it's like Vinavil... It's very hard painting with it!

Check out some hardware stores they sometimes have non-toxic glow in the dark paint for kids' rooms. It is like regular paint and easy to mix.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that loves glow in the dark

Here is my first spirit host. Planning on doing more with other various models. You can find this in my plog as well found in my signature.

After re-painting these babies for like 4 times, I think I'm finally satisfied for the moment

Really cool. Did you make this yourself or is it from some alternative company?
Either way I like it alot.

My Spirit Hosts

Even if you cant really see it i was playing around a bit with glow effects and lighting.

[Azmodan]

here is mine. It didn't turn out as i wanted, but i didn't want to spend more time on it.

i like this one good setup and it seems that it dosen't take to long to do. i think i may do my like that.

[Theerteen]

Zhatan & Azmodan : Yeah! omg, leaves me speechless, great ideas! Shame on me my spirit hosts are already completed, I'd love to try this great work on my own!
March Funebre: Also great, the blue theme is really nice! Are these dark elves bodys?

[Marche Funebre]

Yes they are the skirts least. If y.ou cut off the legs they look very ghost like. The upper body is from the black knight and hexwraith sprue.

Please excuse the awful writing my mobile is not the best for writing in forums. It won't show me what i'm typing.

[Andy2D6]

Quoting the last one for comparison.

Here's my next Host, in purple:

[abhorash_chile]

First, I want to give my thanks to Seth. His technique inspired me to take my brushes again and give some love to my vampire count army after a lot of time without painting anything for them.

My spirit hosts:

[Shareya]

Wow those look good. Though I admit the one who is in...not chains but...stocks..? What is the thingy that keeps his hands next to his head? Either way he made me snicker Spirit head bashing!

[civitatem mortuorum]

Just finished mine, have to finish their bases though. I'm pleased with the result!
