  • The masquerade of murder returns! A new game of Vampires Amongst Us has begun. Unmask the killers, trust no one, and try to survive the night. Find out more and sign up now!
The faces are quite a bit darker than the pictures would suggest, but I may go ahead and give it a dark green shade on top of the light green I've already got, to really pull it together

One of the Skavens clanrats got promoted, figured I'd make a special thing just for it.

Painted up Cipher himself, which means pretty much all the Heros are done, save for Actual Ala'Dien, but I dont have anything for him yet

Nice stuff. I especially like both Cipher and Mortimer from your previous post, great models. :)

Sorry there haven't been any updates for sometime, I've mostly just been working on Core stuff that doesn't really require an update for each individual model. However, since quite a lot happened in my last Mordheim game, I now have a few new conversions I have to work on

First up is this Dark Elf Fleetmaster, who I plan on writting into the main fluff eventually. For the time being he's standing in for a dreg while I wait for the actual dreg model to show up

Next up is a Dramatis persona, I think he was called "Josef the Undying" or something along those lines. The skull on dangling off the Scythe (Which represents his spirit fetish) will have glowing eyes and a ruin etched into the forhead

Finally I have this Wight (Who I still need a name for). The face didn't turn out quite as well as it could have, but its good enough I suppose. Its supposed to be like half of his face has rotten off/been blown off (Got the idea from Breaking Bad), but its not really that easy to tell

Still need to make something for Esmeralda, but I have no female miniatures so I'll have to buy something for her

Sorry if theres a lot of hair on any of the models, my Rabbit is shedding a lot and the hair just gets everywhere

Thanks for the compliments, farmer.

Painted up the Wight (I think I'm going to call him "Gus" till I think of a real name), was a bit of a pain to get the armor right. But in the end I think he turned out pretty good, and his face definitely looks better than I thought it would.

I've also been messing around with some new snow effects for Chaos Bases, I think I've found something that works
DSCN6881.webp

And a little test of Water effects, which I plan to use in a Mordheim board.

Try removing the mold lines before painting. Also, it is better to use a couple of thinner layers of paint instead of thick one (there are also some basecoat paints).

Anyway, having that out of the way. Your conversions are really cool and your army theme is fantastic!

Esmeralda, the Bretonian Witch. This was my first try at a bright color scheme, it was fun and I think it turned out well (Though maybe the yellow shade wasn't the best idea). I'm tempted to make some High Elf grave guard to serve as her bodyguards, but I'm not sure on that yet.

And some severed hands crawling through the desert, to serve as either Tomb Swarms or just unit filler. Got the idea over here:https://www.vampirecounts.net/threads/tomb-swarms.29210/

@Micheal Valdros That girl turned out really well in the end, nice work. The brown suits her perfectly.

Those swarms are something altogether, absolutely brilliant way to pull off ideas floating around here! I like the arm crawling it's way over the skeleton like 'move out the damn way, you're too slow!'

The FLGS has moved from Mordheim to Kill Team, so I figured I may as well start one of those too. Still going to finish up painting the Buccaneers, of course, but I don't plan on adding any more models (Aside from a big shark person I've got coming).

Anyway, on to the kill team. I wanted something fun, and whats grots? Heres a WIP heavy weapons team, I've done as much as I can for it without actually having any grots. I plan on having one on a little control chair mounted to the back of the gun, and the other carrying a box of ammo.

Every one of them is going to have a tattoo like this one on the upper arm (Or sometimes back) with a unique little symbol on them which sorta serves as their 'name'

And two more zombies. Not quite sure why these guys are so shiny (Especially the second one), they've been done for a couple of days so its not like they're still drying

Oh, had completely missed that colour. Thanks.

You've got some really nice zombie pirates btw. The poses are really great on them, and I love the green slime in the big flesh wounds. Though I can agree with what has been said by others, you should take more care in removing the mold lines. They can really be an eyesore.
