Sorry I havent done anything in a few weeks, I've mostly just been slowly cleaning up the terrorghiest and that isnt interesting enough to take any pictures of. I did take a little break to paint up the tomb swarm, though

And I've started work on the headless horseman that I was supposed to do last year. I've already got the parts all picked out and ready to order, so hopefully I'll actually finish the thing this year

@Micheal Valdros I like your headless horseman -conversion! Clever use of dark elf steeds and black knight barding. I wish I could make a unit of some kind with that conversion, but I don't know what it should represent, as I already have black knights (two sort of), blood knights and hex wraiths..

Thanks! The DE horse wasnt even the original plan, I just had one laying on my desk and figured I'd save two bucks by using that instead of buying an empire horse. Thankfully it turned out looking even better than the other one would have.

I also hope to have his pumpkin head on a pin so I can take it off when I want him to look a bit more 'serious'

The first of the Halloween things (There are about 4, since I ended up with a LOT of extra pumpkins while getting a head for the horseman), a werewolf pup

And this thing that isnt directly halloween related, but I needed an empire character for my FLGS's halloween game so I decided to scrap one together. I plan on adding a cross to the front of his armor, then scratching it up a bit. Maybe some kind of chainmail skirt around the legs

Yep, I figured it'd be fun to write something on their shields and the name was the most obvious choice

The pumpkin was definetly inspiried by the reaper model, I ended up with a lot of pumpkins left over and figured I'd try to do something like that without actually having to buy their model

We ended up needing some magical support for the Halloween game, so I painted this up to use as my hero instead of the guy up there. Still going to paint him, but he's no longer got a deadline.

Nice going with the halloween theme. :)

One thing that's consistent with pretty much everything I've seen in this thread is the muddy and dirty finish of your bases. Especially the sides of the bases. I assume that this is a conscious decision? I know I wouldn't be able to resist trying to scratch the stuff off, it kind of makes something within me crawl when I see it.

Started work on my black mask gang. In the pictures it looks like theres some weird white spots on the mask, but as far as I can tell those arent actually on the model, so I have no clue what thats about. I also think I messed up on the matte varnish, if thats the case it should be an easy fix though

The Black Mask himself. Something weird happened with this ones name tag, and I'm not really sure why. It was completly white originally, but after sealing it it got this weird red tint. Same thing happened on Mesh's base, but its far less obvious on him

And a Nurgle lord. I absolutely love this model, probably my favorite in the whole chaos line
