What a tremendous week...due to a serious food intoxication AND a liver which was already a weak one (due to hereditary issues), my first daughter for a couple of days risked to be scheduled for a transplant.
Luckily, things improved a lot in the last couple of days and we're out of danger.
Yeah, she must live with the fact that she will need to be careful with her food for the rest of her life, a sort of not harsh but still controlled diet, but hey.

Getting some good use out of my job transition downtime, the rest will definitely help start my next post on the right foot. Think I might take the train tomorrow, up and down the valley, get some reading and Latin done, enjoy some music.

Well I’m sorry to hear that unas, it’s good she’s out of danger.

For myself I have yet another court case over my daughter on Monday (which has been going on and off for 6 years now). I had my ex try and get me done for child abduction last Christmas after offering a new child arrangement (and then trying to back on it after she had her Christmas with her). Very tired of it all now.

I'm trying to start up my commission painting again (which I did before meeting it) and trying to also do a 3D printing business. I'm also being assessed for ADHD. So all good fun

Sorry to hear Logan. If it is any consolation then I can tell you that after I got diagnosed with adhd and got medicine and therapy my life changed from being not worth living to be gradually better and better. It was a 180 turn in a positive direction.

In danish we have a saying that can be roughly translated to: Fucked up kids play well together.

To be honest most of my friends also have ADHD, so either I am contagious (that’s a joke) or people who are alike go together.

Well, on Sunday I lost my second grandparent in six months. Tomorrow's the viewing. My mother's worse off about it because that's both of her parents gone in a very short span of time. I'm not as torn up about losing vovô (grandfather) as I was expecting to be, if only because dementia hit him hard, and while kind of messed up to say: It's arguably better for him, because at least he's no longer suffering :/

Condolences. I do understand feeling bad, even though it's arguably better for the person. Pain is a difficult thing.

I've lost all of my grandparents and my father too.
No matter if you know it was a relief for them, it's still hard.

I lost one of my friends a week ago to depression. So sad. He always brought positivity and light to everyone around him.

On a happier note, I just moved together with my girlfriend and it is amazing .

In better news, I've finally started cleaning out a lot of the junk in my living space. I'm enjoying this, my allergies... Not so much . Also, my 8th edition Vampire Counts book showed up today. So that'll be some good reading.
