@ Annie: That was quite informative.
We're going to haveta meet one day, if you'll trust some dude on the interwebs to not be a crazy stalker kinda guy. I dig the fairy wings, actually.
And what Cradle songs/Albums do you like? I've been into them for a while, myself. Heavy rock/Gothic rock/Rock of any sort/random music that isn't rap is my thing. I might send you a PM in a bit to pick your brain, as your post brings up a few questions to my naturally inquisitive mind.
Feel free to tell me to go stuff myself if you don't want to answer, I understand.
@ goggalor: Another military man! Well met, and congrats on the submarine job. I have a few friends that are fliers, and I really envy their mobile platform. They're always going to exotic places, seeing things, and I really wanna be up there....but I guess a submarine isn't quite so glamorous. Question. You don't haveta answer this, but I'm really curious...
Do you get to see the 'Big Red button'? I've always wanted to be around one, just for the movie scenarios. I'd be cracking jokes until they went out of style.
@ Buck Dog: Heh. The way you described yourself, I had a reminiscent image of 'Fight Club', and how he told off his boss as an accountant or whatnot. Express away, my friend! Just make sure you can blackmail your boss in the end.
@ Simon: Props on the older girlfriend. I've always enjoyed women a little (Or well over...) my age, personally. Three years is a long time, and I applaud you. Any specific sci fi or Fantasy authors you like? Or just those in general, and whatever catches your eyes at the library?
@ Grish: Me and you both. The setup and take down time is what's driving me to create my own custom traveling/Display case, fully magnetized, based, and themed. I also have read a bit of George R.R Martin, I think it was 'A game of Thrones' or something close. It was a good read, but not really memorable. Is there a specific series or book by him you'd recommend?
And yes, I'm planning on replying, prompting conversation, and generally inquiring after everyone. I'm a collector of knowledge, and studying human interactions for my own pre-college benefit; plus I just like learning about people. If anything I've asked crosses a comfort line, or you simply don't want to answer or think I'm being nosy, feel free to tell me. I'm thick skinned. Feel free to ask anything you want in response (And yes, I mean anything). I figure if someone asks a question, they want an answer and I try my bestest not to lie.
I'm greatly enjoying this thread.
