AFAIK a unit will not deny ranks unless it has two full ranks of 5, so the zombies would not be able to be 4 wide.

I think a better spell to use might be Melkoth's Mystifying Miasma, reduce your target unit's initiative by D3, then when they're hit by the Purple Sun many more of them will die. And since that is also a Shadow spell you can still do the teleporting trick. I just tried looking in the rulebook...

Can Corpse Carts still join units? If so imagine a unit of skeletons 5 wide, with a corpse cart on either side with Okkam's Mindrazor cast on it. 4D6 str 7 attacks on the enemy unit in b2b, along with 2D6 str 7 automatic hits. Ouch.

Sorry if resurrecting this thread is bad but I have a question. Do you guys think that having a Black Coach in a magic heavy VC army is a good or bad thing? On one hand it will get more powerful more quickly, on the other it will make casting spells a bit more difficult.

What about the Beguile power? It doesn't say the -3 modifier is cumulative with other ones, does it stack up with D&D to make a -6 LD test?

I was just wondering if the banshee howl counts as a LD test for the purposes of say the spell Doom & Darkness. Seems like it would be a good combo.
