Well, I'm in for a 8.5 tunning of Warhammer.
I'm willing to absorb what I consider an upgrade to certain rules, and patch what would be left unanswered by GW. Maybe we can create a more balanced and very fun to play game, merging some existing concepts.
(By the way, Nagash won't stand a chance against 14 goblins now, since they all have a 4+ to Hit and a... let's say 4+ to Wound, even if Nagash gets a 3+ save, he can still die pretty easily now because of fixed To-Hit and to-wound rolls, even if he ends up having 10 wounds. Or, he'll be Arcane Bolted to death by an army of all-wizards, using their Ghal Maraz-spells; this is to add to the flaws of this edition).
That aside, let's consider that, if GW was so eager and willing to drastically change their rules for Warhammer once, maybe after a very bad month of sales, they'll re-think their game rules, and like 40k, will have two editions released within... what was it? a year?
If anything, the company is telling us they are willing to change to keep on going... so, maybe we'll have to tell them!
