Thanks!

The white that you see on the scarab back and on some bases is some modelling putty I get in hardware store. It's a 2-part epoxy putty that you mix like greenstuff (but the parts are blue and white), and dries within minutes, so it's perfect for filling big area or making basic shape before going over with greenstuff.

For casting the wings, I'm trying to do a 2-part mold of it and will cast it in resin. I currently have made one half of the mold, should make the other today, and possibly a first cast late tonight if possible (rubber take about 8 hours to cure so we'll see). I cross my fngers that it'll work!

Thanks Santa :)

Well the mold turned out that it didn't worked out, so I'll have to tweak things to make it work. The wing are too thin to make a 2-part mold, as I feared. I have a few ideas of changes to make, in the worst case I'll have to make a brand new wing, thicker and more mold-friendly, but that'll be for later.

Instead I flocked and primed all of my unpainted Ushabti. I used about a can of prmer for that!

So now I have 20 Ushabti ready to paint!

Are those Tzeetch wings on your champion? looks great! How does that work with points cost, him being able to fly and all?

The wings are the plastic wings from Bretonnia's Pegasus, with some added battle damage ;) But otherwise, he cost 10 point more, being the champion and all (doesn't fly though!) :p

@ Robtion; Thanks a lot, glad you like it!

Hi! Lovely army you have there. I really like the green you have achieved, lush but not unrealistically bright. It looks fantastic together with the stone on the ushabti. And looking back some pages: very cool tortoise unit and insane hierotitan! If that conversion was a kit I'd by it in a second:D

@Chtulu; thanks a lot!

@Santa; Go ahead and steal, the original idea is not mine anyway, I "borrowed" it xD

The Priest is a fantastic conversion. I was going to try and steal him but you did some fantastic GS work I could never hope to match

There's not much greentstuff on him beside gap-filling, though he does have a decent amount of plasticard :D

And I finished another character today, wich strenghtened my liking to my new skin color. It look better on an actual sexy mini rather than on a kitbashed zombie (the Liche above) :p
