8-9 years! Whoa! Iit gives me some hope that unpainted miniatures can dig themselves even from such a backlog, though

Woh, those are some old models...ok, RT As expected, a strictly executed army theme, really nice. I like how your start develops to the cleaner and more detailed look. I'll try to come up with an overall theme, not sure which though...female death corps, so much for sure.

Already posted this today but I have to do it again! Very nice work on the Carmine Dragon sir! It looks fantastic and I'm amazed how well it suits your army theme!

Just popped back to say I'm meaning to take some massed army pics some time soon, but finding time to move everything, set it up etc isn't easy. If there are any particular pictures / groupings that people would like to see, it would be good to post them soon to avoid disappointment, though.

BUT I just received my Reaper Bones 3 Kickstarter shipment (days before Reaper Bones 4 KS ends) which includes some Undead models, so those are on my agenda. Chief among those is their new Graveyard set, so I'll try and unpack all of that (there is lots) so I can share pictures with you.

Yes, the big guy needs some roses, but these are already too much of a distraction from my Space Marines... maybe another day.

Thanks, it was nice to take a few hours off from yellow and turquoise to do these. The Grave Golem fits on a 50mm base which matches nothing in my army, really, so I don't know what it counts as, but it's a fun model.
Those minis are all awesome in their own ways, but I really like the ethereal above the rest. Great work.

Dug this guy out of my bits box - some sort of Bramble Demon or somesuch? He was a gift from our friend @ZeroTwentythree some time back. I added some twigs and roses and made it into something that can lurk with my dryad handmaidens...

Yay, Shadespyre is back with some undead! This beast looks very cool, interesting concept and indeed fits your army very well 
Glad you like it! (her maybe, as that's the theme of my army, really). Now I've all but finished the Space Marine project, and before I decide what to take on next, I will hunt around for the last few Undead models. I believe I still need to assemble the whole army for some photos, too...
Another random Undead model. There's a whole bunch of these giant undead liche-a-likes in classic pre-slotta miniatures ranges. Who are what are they supposed to be? How many undead giants can there be, and where does their supply of giant scythes come from (in most fantasy settings, giants are not known for their arable farming skills!)?
Anyway, I couldn't decide what to do with this one. It's quite statuesque, but fails my Statue Test (who would make this statue and why?) and my matriarchal Eternal Court has no place for a giant MALE undead wizard, so I've painted it as a spectral addition to my Spirit Hosts.

Well, maybe those giant skeletons with scythes are just grim reapers for giants? Someone has to reap those souls, I guess every race has its own And, as a statue - maybe it could be built by a death-obsessed culture? As a big memento mori for some morose folk? People in Empire sure do love some skulls and grim reapers all over their architecture.

I painted all of my spectral minions as if they wield solid weapons, so this is following suit. It doesn't necessarily make any sense, but it's less boring! Maybe the weapon (or sceptre in this case) is the real-world anchor for their restless spirit?
Or maybe I'm just a spectral sceptre sceptic...

Added another Vampire to the Eternal Court, mounted on the Skeletal Dragon I'd previously painted.
I used the familiar mix of Dark and High Elf bits for this, and I finally used that old seat back to give it some extra height. Despite that, it's still dwarfed by the Carmine Dragon, Coven Throne and my enormous Nethyrmaul Zombie Dragon.

Wow, now that's a good addition to an already great model! Good that you made those horns and claws dark red, it binds the dragon nicely together with the rider Shame it's small, as you describe it - I would expect to be easily bigger than a coven throne!

Painted these two wraith guys (from Mierce Minitures) up. This doesn't really fit the colour scheme of my army but I thought they would look good dark and cold. To be honest I may end up rebasing them for Frostgrave, but for now, here they are.
