And the Black Coach is finished!
I must say that I am not entirely happy with the outcome, mainly cause it feels a bit too simplistic. But considering how fast this project was by my standards (assembled and painted in less than 3 weeks) I guess I can't complain too much, and besides, this is one of few models I have with such a limited palette, so I'm happy about that. It was a lovely model to work with, and I'm very glad to have added it to my army. On that note I shall also offer my thanks to
@Melle who gave the model to me as part of out zombie exchange deal. I didn't think much of it at the time, party because I didn't find it's rules that inspiring back and 8th. And not to toot my own horn, but I do find it quite awesome in 9th Age, so I'm really looking forward to seeing it on the field.
Anyway, onto the pictures:
And when I say limited colour palette, I mean until you open the lid of the coffin
Inspired by
@Mioum's awesome Coach, I added padding to the inside of the wagon. I think it really adds a lot to the model.
And quite crappy close up shots of the vampire. Realise now that I should have stood the coffin up when taking the pictures rather than tilting the camera to face the ground.
And as a special final treat, I have a small update on the Mordheim Warband. Nothing painted this time, but I've more or less finished the sculpting on Yusuf Zaahir Abd al-Hamid, the Blood Servant. A proud youngling of the Qassari tribes. Ensnared by the Lamia Vampires Hashepsut and Ast, he fights willingly in the streets of Mordheim, despite his lack of skill at handling a weapon. He is know as "Pretty Boy" by the envious henchmen of the group, for only the Equitaine Knight, Sir Gaël Dubois, stands closer to the Mistress of the Warband.
His arms are magnetised so that I could change his gear in the future.
That is all for now, feel free to comment =)
