The mantic "ghoul ghast" makes a good necrotect as he's a ghoul with a whip and is going in my ghoul horde for poison re-rolls.

I just received my Nagash book and the thing about mortarch manny that jumps out at me is the double range to lore of undeath. That means he can summon 10 skeletons next to cannons. Maybe with two mortis engines I would rest easy facing empire gunline.

I don't have the Nagash book yet, but I thought you have to declare which lores Nagash is picking from at the list building stage? i.e. 3 from LoV and 2 from Light. Or is he such a beast you can choose before the game?
