These rumours sounds terrible and if they are true I want nothing to do with 9'th edition.

I rather like it and look forward to playing a Strigoi army with lots of monsters in it. I do however hate how most of the bloodlines fluff get swept under the rug in favour of focus on Carstein. The poor Necrarchs are barely mentioned. The fluff about Nagash also seems contradicting in it...

I thought it sucked how the under-represent any bloodline that wasn't Von Carstein. But also like that they made the Bloodlines more flexible. But I really want them to truly bring back the bloodlines so I can play a Strigoi based army.

I'm gonna guess that we will get a Zombie Dragon that will be similar to the TK Sphinx that you can either use it as a mount or use a independent version of it (spectral perhaps) that flies around and cause general havoc. If nothing else I want a plastic Zombie Dragon. I also really wanna bring...

Classic Items like the Flail of Skulls is still in the book even if restricted to a special character. So in a sense a lot of the old stuff is probably still gonna be there even if it is not optional for regular characters any more.

I'm okay with this. Makes it easier to keep magic items balanced. They could squeeze in a couple of extra banners though.

I rather like it a lot. Have much more versatile core choices then VC, the fact that other units get to use Tomb Kings/Princes WS if they join it makes skeletons suddenly awesome (that and they are cheaper then VC skellies) and I was annoyed by VC's lack of shooting.

Maybe you are thinking of the Red Duke? The Vampire Counts fluff with all the bloodlines didn't exist either until the 5th edition. They did make rules for Walach Harkon that is the grand master of the knightly Blood Dragon order, though.

I wonder how much the world would tremble if Abhorash emerged with an entire army of Blood Dragons? My guess is that he probably don't care much about the conflicts of the world.
